Interaction with Guests
I will arrange for you to pick up keys locally, and will be in touch by email with answers to any questions or travel tips. Once you arrive you'll have full privacy.
The historic East Village, home of the Bowery Poetry Club, St Marks in the Bowery Church, and Astor Place, once the hometown of punk and the Tompkins Square squats, now home to fabulous and creative designer boutiques, gluten free bakeries, old school Italian cannoli and mozzarella haunts, and some of NYC's top rated restaurants and bars. Diverse, lively, and pelasing to the senses. I love a day when I can just walk from my favorite cafe to my favorite park to Whole Foods to Trader Joes, never taking a subway or bus or cab. A short ride by public transportation, though, can get you to MoMA, the Met, Barneys, Lincoln Center, or hip Brooklyn... all New York's good things.
Two blocks from the First Ave L, five blocks from the Union Square hub (4,5,6,N,Q,R,L). Walking distance to NYU, Lower East Side, East River bike trail, Tomkins Square Park, Washington Square Park, Bowery Museum, Cooper Union. In short, a great location.
