We are perched atop a hill with a great view of the Caribbean Sea and the capital, St. Johns.

The apartment is 10 minutes from the airport, downtown St. Johns, and the beach so it is very conveniently located.

The apartment has its own entrance and has been inspected and approved for rental during the COVID crisis by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.

All types of people are welcome. :-)

A bottle of our homemade rum punch is awaiting you when you arrive.

The space
The bnb is unique in the way the veranda is covered in flowers creating a private little place to relax in peace while looking out towards the islands of St. Kitts and Nevis (on a clear day). While the studio apartment is small, it is quiet and very comfortable in its cozy style.

The apartment contains our own little eclectic of home crafted furniture and stylish period pieces from the turn of the century. We typically include a lot of books for people to read, but those are currently removed due to COVID.

The space has a small kitchen with a fridge, a toaster oven, toaster, a coffee pot, and a variety of teas and coffees along with other food stuffs you can use to make breakfast.

Guest access
The studio apartment has a small veranda, but you can wander through other parts of our property as long as you keep a good distance from us due to the Antigua's social distancing rules. The pool and larger veranda, which are usually available, are currently closed off due to COVID restrictions.

Other things to note
Our home is eco-friendly. We have large cisterns that store our water, solar water heaters, and solar panels. We do our own composting, raise chickens (with our daughter Em selling eggs) and have built much of the furniture that we use on our veranda and other parts of our home. We grow some of our food especially herbs we use to season our recipes.

Location

Antigua & Barbuda

Our neighborhood, known as Cedar Valley, is quiet and comfortable and located a few miles from St. Johns, the capitol. It is somewhat rural but a short distance from the beach, the Port, capitol, and airport.

We live very close to the only 18 course golf course on the island. In fact, we live right off the 16th hole and can hear the occasional whack of a club and yell of "Fore!".

A number of restaurants are within a mile of our home so if you want to eat out, you won't have far to go. If you like to take a walk or job, many use the golf course or Adam runs the back roads and can suggest routes for you.

I offer Caribbean cooking classes on the island of Antigua in the West Indies. At "Nicole's Table" we welcome foodies who love to learn new recipes, trade stories, and meet new people. We explore foods from across the Caribbean... some in their traditional forms and others with our own “Caribbean twist” which marries Caribbean and other cuisines. Each “class” includes recipes for a starter, main course and a dessert along with our “old fashioned” rum punch, juice, or fresh water from our cisterns. Our creations are served on our veranda overlooking the Caribbean and St. John's Harbour and our classes are rated 5/5 on TripAdvisor winning TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
