Gorgeous and spacious patio w/BBQ & ping pong table. Incredible location - easy access to all the fun plus 1 block away from 1 of Denver's biggest and best parks w/2 lakes, the Zoo & Museum of Nature and Science. Smart TV with Hulu/Live TV/Disney/ESPN.

The space
The vibrant 2 bedroom guest home with spacious bathroom and open floor plan can sleep up to 5 people with 3 beds and a pullout couch, yet, is also great for 2 or even 1. The cottage is fun, inviting as well as clean and comfy! Lots of extra's to enjoy - coffee/tea bar, ping pong table, very spacious and relaxing private shaded patio and BBQ! Let's talk location!!! The cottage is just 1 block to Denver's best park - City Park with a lake, ponds, bird sanctuary, walking trails, 2 very large children's playgrounds and is home to the zoo and the Nature Museum! You can walk to both! We are also located in South Park hill surrounded by million dollar homes on a tree lined parkway! Walk to coffee shops and restaurants, hop on the bus or grab a Lyft bike and zip around Denver. The cottage is just 15 minutes to downtown, 30 minutes to the airport, 30 minutes to Red Rocks, 10 minutes to Cherry Creek! It's in the heart of it all in one of Denver's consistently highest ranks neighborhoods - South Park Hill.

Guest access
2 private tandem parking spaces in right in front of the back garage for your use - literally steps from the entrance to your unit or you can park in the Church parking lot right at the end of they alley 2 houses down. Enter through your own private gate and into your own stellar patio to the home. You can fit two smaller cars only if you decide to park in front of the garage. Just park close to the door as not to risk getting your car dinged as people do drive down that alley quite frequently. The exteriors is super well lit for safety when arriving at night. Access the patio through the back gate, you will find a key coded entry front door. Please do not use the side gates to access the front of the home. We have a dog so we keep the front gates locked. You will need to walk around front to have an uber or lyft driver get you or ask them to pick you up in the alley access.

Other things to note
* We are a non-smoking household and do not allow smoking inside of the unit. Feel free to puff outside...but no smoking inside. We are a non discriminating couple and are 420 friendly. We allow no guns of any kind on the premises.

* Be sure to thoroughly read the listing, pictures and reviews to ensure it fits your needs. Please remember that this is attached to the back of our home in a prime location, not a luxury listing or hotel.

There is a lock on the back gate, but we do not lock it. This is for you and your safety if you prefer to lock the gate in the evenings.

We do have security lighting for easy seeing if you arrive after dark.

There is one step down from the alley into our patio! Please watch your step. other than that, the unit is one level and easy to get around.

Neighborhood highlights

South Park Hill is considered one of the best neighborhoods in Denver metro. We are located on the coveted 17th Avenue Parkway, among some of Denver's most beautiful old homes. There is a glorious center parkway right in front of our house ideal for walks or a run that goes east for nearly 2 miles with beautiful trees and greenery and some of the best architecture in the city. And to the West one block you will find City Park...one of the largest parks in Denver at 3 miles around. It backs up to The Denver Zoo and houses The Denver Museum of Nature & Science. One of our favorite evening strolls is walking through City Park around the lake and by the boat house. :)

Billy and Tahvory have been together for 20 years! Tahvory is a Colorado native born and raised in the Boulder area and Billy was raised on the East coast in Guilford Connecticut and has lived in Colorado since 1990 and considers himself a local. They've lived in the neighborhood for 20+ years and have watched it grow into the thriving neighborhood it has become! They both love the outdoors and spend a lot of their time enjoying the amazing mountains of Colorado. Tahvory is a hiking enthusiast and Billy has been skiing since he was 3 years old and gets out on the mountain as much as possible. Billy and Tahvory are both very social people and know the city and it's many fun places to explore!! Feel free to ask any questions about restaurants or nightlife. Their biggest hope by opening this space to guests, is to provide a unique and personal experience on their visit to Denver, and if the timing is right meet some very interesting people during their stay in their home. If you choose to stay with them, don't hesitate to call them if you need advice about this beautiful city they call HOME.
