The large windows throughout the house receive great light pretty much all day. The kitchen was remodeled in 2011 and features a gas range and oven. The guest bathroom was renovated in 2014. This is my full-time home so I may or may not be staying in the second bedroom while you are in Traverse City. Regardless of whether I'm home or not the guest room has a double bed and private bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
If you are inquiring to rent the entire house rather than just the guest room please include that request in your initial correspondence otherwise I will assume you are inquiring about the guest room only.
Guests have access to the guest bathroom, guest bedroom, kitchen, living room and entertainment room (in basement) if desired. Kitchen appliances include coffee maker, toaster, microwave, oven, range, refrigerator and freezer. Guests may also utilize my washer and dryer if necessary.
Interaction with Guests
My interaction with guests varies depending on the guests. I have area maps and activity brochures available and am happy to make recommendations. I have also had guests who barely knew I was home despite the fact that this is my primary residence. It really just depends on my schedule and the social preferences of my guests.
No smoking indoors. Pets may be negotiated. The whole house (bed space for 4 plus air mattress for 2 more) may be available to rent for $150 per night.
The reservation was canceled 39 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Great host! Val was super welcoming and her house was beautiful. Very clean too! She also gave wonderful recommendations for things to do in the traverse area. Thanks for making our first Air bnb experience a great one!
Valarie was a very gracious host. Her beautiful home is very clean, and she is extremely helpful and flexible. Valarie's home was perfect to stay in for my girlfriend and myself. I'll definitely explore her listing again if I'm ever in the Traverse City area again!
Valarie was a wonderful host! We enjoyed our weekend stay at her home! It felt just like home an was super close to everything we went to! If you're looking for a comfortable to stay in TC, we highly recommend it!
Our first Airbnb experience was a good one thanks to Val. Her clean, spacious home is located in a quiet, cute neighborhood closer to Traverse City than the map shows. A warm welcome greeted us on arrival and everything we needed e.g., towels, shampoo, etc. was ready and waiting. Val was a wonderful host and made us both feel very comfortable. She has a wealth of knowledge on the area and provided a number of no pressure suggestions to enhance our trip. We would definitely stay with her again.
Valerie was a wonderful host. We finally found the herd of Buffalo she told us about. Her home was warm and comforting. The area was perfect and quiet. Thanks so much for a great stay and hope to come back next year.
Very nice place, very clean. Valery was great. She upgraded us to her master suite at no extra charge.
I love to travel and believe every day I wake up is a new chance for an adventure. I work as a loan specialist for municipal construction projects (think water and sewer lines, libraries, city halls, etc.). I enjoy experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. I tend to travel alone, but always seem to find people to pal around with once I arrive on location. I am easy going and don't like to over plan trips because those plans pretty much always change anyway.
