Super sunny apartment, it is very well located only 15 minutes walk to the Ramblas and Paseo de Gracia, and 15 minutes walk to the beach and Picasso Museum and Parc de la Citadella and only 8 blocks to La Sagrada Familia.
It has a double room with a nice compfortable bed and a childrens room with two single beds, one dinning room for 8 p , a living room with a jardin d'hiver, a complete kitchen and a bathroom with a shower, there is also a small W.C. in the hall. For nice breakfast there is a small balcony with direct sun the whole morning.A folding bed is available if you are 5 p or you need to invite a friend sleepover during your stay.Wifi is high speed and the towels and linnen are provided with the rental.
The quartier is a very popular one plenty of supermarkets, the local library is just around the corner, there are two small markets with local products. Many buses connect you to everywhere and two metro stations just three blocks away: Arc de Triomf and Tetuan, though you can just walk to get to the most interesting spots.
The ideal flat for a family with young children or teenagers for your stay in Barcelona.
Just a few rules of common sense, enjoy the house as if it were yours,
leave the kitchen tidy after use, all cleanning products available.
Late at night be respectfull with the neighbourgs who may be sleeping,
Always be sure to lock the apartment door and to leave the lights off.
Smoking on the balcony is allowed only with the access door closed.
Have fun !
A great place to stay! Just 15-20 minutes walk from the city centre in a good neighbourhood. Spacious apartment, equipped with all necessities. We loved it and will definitely stay there again next time we're in Barcelona
Appartement très agréable et très bien tenu, situé à proximité des principaux sites touristiques de Barcelone.
Immeuble et quartier calme.
Hôte très disponible (heure d'arrivée, de départ).
Jessica responded very quickly, so I was easily and tranquility waiting for my vacation. Her apartment is located in a very good location in Barcelona. Very quiet area with lots of parks around, lots of supermarkets, excellent access to any public transportation. Most importantly, that the apartment is in a fifteen minute walking from almost any attraction of Barcelona or the beach.
It was a great vacation, and we are grateful to Jessica that she took care of us. It is a pity that we do not see each other in person, but Jessica is a good host with a very nice apartment.
Jessica is a great host, communication both before and during our stay was excellent. The flat is suberb, the location is very good too. I recommend Jessica's place if you want to stay in Barcelona. Everything needed is within walking distance. Thanks a lot Jessica )))
Jessica is very nice hostess!
It was our first booking through the site, and we were a bit worried. But the apartment was easy to find and Jessica met us at the apartment.
Everything looks the same way as in the photo. The apartment is very clean, nice and cozy. It also have a good location, shops, supermarkets, pharmacies are close. Apartment is perfect for families with children.
Living there we have everything we needed. Jessica was ready to help us with any problem.
We had a great summer vacation in Barcelona and hope to return next year! Thank u, Jessica!
The communication was fluid and enjoyable with Jessica.
Jessica informed me that there was construction work on the back facade after I booked the rental —not before. Since it was during Christmas holidays, there were no workers working. But the back balcony and windows had scaffoldings, a protective net and were full of concrete droppings. I was hoping for a more uplifting experience in a late 19th early 20th century Eixample apartment for a holiday. The rooms were smaller than they appear on the photos. What impressed me was that the apartment was also faded and worn in, badly needing a coat of paint, which was not the impression I got from the photos where everything seems super white, bright and clean.
One of the reasons I chose the apartment was to be in the Eixample. To my regret, the apartment is not in the ´high´ and architecturally flamboyant art nouveau part of that district. It is located in its Eastern edge. Most of the buildings around are post war, 1950's, dull concrete buildings. You have to go closer the Passeig de Gracia to see more inspiring architecture. The neighbourhood seems quite safe, day and night, like the rest of the Eixample. It is located near Arc de Triomf metro station, which is practical. A bit further West on the street is a great restaurant, Casa Calvet, located in a Gaudi building that should not be missed. The food, service and decor are excellent!
The apartment is composed of 3 main rooms (dining room, living room, master bedroom) that give at the back of the building and are thus are very quiet, especially at night for sleeping. The kitchen, bathroom and children's room give onto a corridor that leads to the front where the children's room faces the street where cars can be heard as this is single glazing.
I in fact never met Jessica as she was away on holiday with her family. Her sister was waiting for me at the apartment at the agreed time. She showed me around and explained me the basics. It appeared she had cleaned up a few essential things before my arrival, like the toilet, the shower base. I asked her if the sheets of the bed were clean and had been changed. She said yes, but when I came to use the bed at night, the sheet over the mattress was creased as if someone had slept in it. There were crumbs for some odd reason. The sheets smelled soap detergent, so I don’t know what to make of it. Perhaps they were clean but just old. I wished I didn’t have to ask myself these questions. The bathroom towels were as rough as sandpaper, as there is no clothe dryer. These are perhaps small things that you don’t get in a hotel for the same price, and may not matter much depending on your expectations. I can now say I stayed in a genuine Barcelona apartment :)
