I stayed here for 5 nights with my college-aged daughter before dropping her off for her semester abroad in Rome. The apartment is spacious, clean and in good repair. The location was perfect for site-seeing and dining. We walked everywhere since we were centrally located. Our host, Paola, was a huge help, she spoke English very well and she was a huge help before and during our trip. She also arranged for pick up and drop off for the airport. The Piazza was a bit noisy on the weekend nights. Not an issue for us, but may be for others. I just put on a little music and it was fine. I would definitely recommend this apartment. Paola also was able to let us in early which was a huge help since we took the red-eye and were very tired. An added bonus was that the kitchen was well stocked and even had espresso for their espresso maker-a nice touch.
Paola was a courteous host and her apartment was fantastic. It is in a great location within easy walking distance to Romes great attractions. The apartment is spacious and light and had everything we needed and more. We were sorry to leave and would have loved to have stayed longer. We recommend it highly.
We went to Rome for NYE. We stayed for 5 nights at Paola's place. It was perfect!
First the location of the place is just right to enjoy Rome. From there, you can walk to any sightseeing place of the city. Also, the area is charming and feels very much like Le Marais in Paris. The area is a great place to hang out at night so it is a bit noisy outside at night but this did not prevent us from sleeping like babies.
Second, the apartment itself is beautiful. The materials are gorgeous. Actually, the description made and the pictures posted on Airbnb are absolutely relevant.
Third, the place is very well maintained and very clean.
Fourth and last, Paola was a great host with whom it was easy to arrange our arrival and departure and who was very available. We had a little problem in the apartment and Paola came to help us out very shortly.
We absolutely recommend this place.
This was the absolute perfect place to stay while visiting Rome. We walked everywhere from The Colosseum to The Vatican to the Borghese gardens. Loved every minute of our trip and would happily stay there again.
My daughters and I spent a wonderful 4 nights at Vicolo del Fico 15. It was comfortable and warm on the chilly November nights. The kitchen was small but well stocked. The pictures provided on Airbnb let us know exactly what to expect in the apartment. It was an EASY walk to the Pantheon and Piazza Navonna. In fact, we enjoyed walking to many major sites in old Rome. There's a grocery store nearby and several good restaurants. Paola communicated through Airbnb and we established a convenient time for us to check in, and she was waiting for us when we arrived. She went over how to use the appliances, TV, and radiators so that we were comfortable using them. It was a great experience!
Thank you Paola for a great stay and for staying in touch throughout. We had a good time in your nice apartment in the heart of Rome.
The flat is located in the middle of the historic center of Rome. We could do all of our sightseeing by foot. Great!
There are a lot of bars and cafés close by, so especially on the weekend it is pretty noisy at night.
We absolutely LOVED Paola's place! Rome turned out to be our favorite city all throughout Italy, probably because we loved the area we stayed in. The apartment fit our family of 5 perfectly. We had 2 adults & 3 young children. It was nice to walk to the local market around the corner and cook a few meals & really nice to do some laundry! Great restaurants all around us. There's a lively bar just around the corner, Bar de Fico. It got crowned at night and you could hear a hum of people mingling, but it didn't bother us one bit and just reminded us that we were in a fun, great area. The small cobbled stone streets around the apartment were wonderful. It truly was one of the best areas in Rome to stay in. We walked to everything...Piazza Navona, Pantheon, even Colossum, much longer walk, but we did it with 3 kids in tow! We would highly recommend her place and Paola was wonderful! Thanks for a great stay Paola!!

Four of us stayed in Paola's place for two nights:she is caring and helpful. The place is right I the center of Rome, you can experience true Romes life here: Besides the stores downstairs are charming: Nice apartment:
We really enjoyed staying at Paola’s apartment.
It’s a building full of character and charm. Also the apartment has beautiful exposed beams.
Paola was there in time to receive us (and we even arrived earlier than expected!), she explained all we needed to know.
Besides that the location of the place is just excellent! We walked from there to most of the sites (even to Forum Romanum, Vatican, Spanish Steps) even with 2 children. Piazza Navona and Pantheon (and many restaurants) are just around the corner.
Thanks and we can definitely recommend it!
