Our loft will provide a comfortable stay to either the weekender or one who needs to spend a week in Kansas City. The two bedroom, two bath ‘home-away-from-home' is easily accessible from either I-70 or I-35, yet affords a sense of quiet and seclusion for those who wish to avoid the urban rush.

If you are a discriminating connoisseur of the arts or a rabid sports fan, its location affords easy access to the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, Sprint Center and both Kauffman and Arrowhead stadiums.

Even bicyclists can find a rather interesting bike shop nearby where bikes may be rented for a ride through the urban landscape or along the Lewis and Clarke trail overlooking the Missouri River.

Perhaps you just want to experience a bit of urban life. Whether it be an eclectic array of restaurants, antiquing or farmer's market, our loft is a block away from the City Market, where you will find a selection of interesting retail shops and casual dining eateries. Additional shopping can be found just 10 minutes to the north at Briarcliff Village and Zona Rosa, and 10 minutes to the south at the Country Club Plaza. More exclusive dining lies a few blocks to the south in the heart of downtown Kansas City and the Power and Light District.

Nowhere in Kansas City can you find a more diverse dining experience. International cuisines are the norm and standard fare compliments the options making the decision on where to dine out a difficult task. Your mouth will water as you consider dining options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and every possible snack or meal in-between, including:
Chinese
Ethiopian
Farm to Table
French
Italian
Mediterranean
Mexican
Vietnamese
American foods, from flapjacks to pizza to sandwiches

Grab a cup of ‘Joe' or afternoon gelato to fulfill your cravings for caffeine or sweets. Listen to music on outdoor patios with friends and drink a thirst quenching happy hour beverage. Enjoy a night out at one of several hot spots for some late-night libations.

Or, take advantage of loft living and whip up your own gourmet meal in our newly remodeled kitchen featuring granite counters and a classic subway tile backsplash. Fresh seafood, beef, vegetables and fruit are available a few blocks to the south at Cosentino's grocery store. If you wish to experience something more adventurous, the City Market is home to several ethnic markets.

As our guest, you will have access to free onsite parking in the lot behind the building, access to the gym and full/private use of the loft!

We will greet you when you arrive to check you in, give you a quick tour and leave you with a set of keys. We are available to answer any questions or concerns you have during your stay via phone call, text or the Airbnb messaging system.

We met in the River Market in 2005, when we lived in neighboring buildings along Delaware Street. We married in 2006 in the courtyard across the street from our loft and held our reception down the hill at the City Market. Years later, we brought 2 babies into the world and into our loft; a boy in 2009 and a girl in 2013. Our loft is hip, historical and in a fantastic location, but more than that, it is the home in which we became a family. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we have!!
