  • Nan and Scott were some of the most gracious people I have ever met. I felt like their home became my home. And they shared a wonderful meal with me too! They really made my time in Minneapolis special and positive. The room was cozy and the bed was really comfortable. Shower pressure was phenomenal too! Bear, the cat, was really friendly and it was great to hang out with him, also.

Next time I'll bring my bass so we can all jam to some more Beach Boys tunes! I highly recommend staying with Nan and Scott.

  • Nan and Scott were very hospitable! Their place is on a major high frequency bus line about 20-30 mins from downtown. They have a very friendly cat and were able to provide me with all the recommendations to enjoy my short stay in Minneapolis. Thanks!

  • I felt very comfortable at Nan and Scott's place: firm bed, nice patio, large TV, quietness, and friendly hospitality from Nan and Scott. The location was convenient, with easy access to restaurants and a bus line. Also, the cat was a definite asset. I would definitely recommend a stay at this house.

  • This was our first Airbnb experience and it was fabulous! We had a very nice and comfortable room for the long weekend we spent in the city. The direct access to the patio is a plus, and so is the social cat, named Bear. We definitely recommend these friendly hosts and their home. The location is great, too.

  • I was stuck between places to stay for a week and contacted Nan and Scott on very short notice. They were wonderful! The house was clean and beautiful and they were very welcoming. While I was working during most of the week, they were available and helpful when necessary, and even offered to include me in some of their every day activities. The futon was comfortable, and they have a very sweet cat who loves company. Also, I found the area very nice and rather quiet. There are some nice places to eat and they're about a mile from the lakes.

  • Lovely home in a fantastic urban setting. Nan and Scott are so easy to be around - we shared a wonderful dinner and great conversation. Accommodations are very comfortable and I love access to the yard from my room! The cat (Bear) is a charmer... I would definitely recommend Nan and Scott's place!

  • Nan and Scott are wonderfully nice people to let others enjoy their beautiful home (and cat). The pictures do not do justice to how aesthetically pleasing, warm and inviting their home is. If you are new to Minneapolis, they are in a nice, quiet neighborhood right on a major bus line so you can gain access to the rest of the Twin Cities. Thanks Nan & Scott! ~Chris

    Thanks!

  • Had a nice time staying with Nan and Scott in their beautiful house. Plus they had an adorable cat named Bear. The house is close to public transportation (bus) and there are a few really good cafes/restaurants. For breakfast, check out "Butter" or "Grand Cafe," Nan also recommended "Victor's 1959 Cafe" but there were 9 parties (it is that popular!) before us on late Sunday morning so we went to the Grand Cafe instead.

  • Scott is lovely, but we didn't get the opportunity to meet Nan, who I'm sure is lovely, too! Bear the Cat is hilarious- I have never met such an easygoing cat! The house is awesome, the neighbourhood is great- overall a fabulous experience- highly recommended! =)

About
We truly love creating a welcoming space for guests. We love cooking fabulous meals and sharing conversation over a bottle of wine with any guests who are interested. And the space is great for folks who want quiet and privacy. We both bike a LOT, and can help you explore the "most bike friendly city in the U.S." We're pretty up on the current music scene too. Scott owns a graphic design and marketing business, and Nan is a chaplain/religion teacher/service coordinator at a near by school.
