  • Nan and Scott are wonderfully nice people to let others enjoy their beautiful home (and cat). The pictures do not do justice to how aesthetically pleasing, warm and inviting their home is. If you are new to Minneapolis, they are in a nice, quiet neighborhood right on a major bus line so you can gain access to the rest of the Twin Cities. Thanks Nan & Scott! ~Chris

  • Nan and Scott have a beautiful home. The room was clean and comfortable. Both were very friendly and helpful with things to see and do while I was in Minneapolis. I would definitely stay with them again.

  • Had a nice time staying with Nan and Scott in their beautiful house. Plus they had an adorable cat named Bear. The house is close to public transportation (bus) and there are a few really good cafes/restaurants. For breakfast, check out "Butter" or "Grand Cafe," Nan also recommended "Victor's 1959 Cafe" but there were 9 parties (it is that popular!) before us on late Sunday morning so we went to the Grand Cafe instead.

  • Scott is lovely, but we didn't get the opportunity to meet Nan, who I'm sure is lovely, too! Bear the Cat is hilarious- I have never met such an easygoing cat! The house is awesome, the neighbourhood is great- overall a fabulous experience- highly recommended! =)

  • Both the room and Nan and Scott were great! Super comfortable room its own access in a great neighborhood. I had breakfast there every morning and was even hosted for dinner one night - it felt like home for the 5 days I was there.

    Thanks for the kind words!

  • Nan and Scott's was super comfortable, clean, and really centrally located in a hip neighborhood. Our host was super easy-going, and the whole process was easy -- no problems meeting up, and everything we needed and more was already set up in the room when we arrived: a note listing areas worth seeing/wifi, towels, maps ... There was nothing more I could've possibly wanted.

Also, their cat is the BOMB!!

We truly love creating a welcoming space for guests. We love cooking fabulous meals and sharing conversation over a bottle of wine with any guests who are interested. And the space is great for folks who want quiet and privacy. We both bike a LOT, and can help you explore the "most bike friendly city in the U.S." We're pretty up on the current music scene too. Scott owns a graphic design and marketing business, and Nan is a chaplain/religion teacher/service coordinator at a near by school.
