Villa Little Italy consists of three vintage Art Deco inspired 1930's bungalows. Each of these "mini villas" has been carefully upgraded to include modern conveniences to insure a comfortable stay. Each is styled distinctively, reflecting modern mid-century, beach cottage, and modern traditionalist themes. An expansive, gated and fenced back patio provides privacy for outdoor relaxation and dining.

LA STRADA is a 2 bedroom 1 bath mini-villa with queen pillow top beds in both bedrooms. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa as well as a 43" Samsung SMART TV (Netflix, YouTube, Amazon) with cable channels as well. Kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave and Keurig coffee maker, as well as kitchen essentials (cooking utensils, spices, oil and balsamic). Vintage bathroom with tub and shower, including hair dryer. Closets in hallway with iron & ironing board and extra linens is located off the bedroom. This bungalow is approximately 625 square feet - perfect for four people.

Stay with us and experience gracious Mediterranean hospitality. Everyone welcome. We’re 10 minutes from the airport, and minutes to downtown. In addition, we’re four blocks to the nearest San Diego Trolley station, from which it is convenient and affordable to get to Gaslamp District, Seaport Village, Convention Center or take longer excursions to Old Town, Mission Valley, La Mesa, El Cajon or beyond to San Ysidro and Tijuana.

>There is a public (paid) parking lot across the street on Columbia Street. Rates vary, depending on day of week and season. For a list or map of other parking lots, go online to parkopedia or spothero.

>Shared ride services like Uber and Lyft service the neighborhood very well. One option is to park your car in a nearby neighborhood (Bankers Hill or Park West) and walk (10 minutes) or use ride-share services.

NO LAUNDRY ONSITE. Ask about our recommendations for local laundries, dry cleaning and fluff n fold services.

Villa Little Italy is our family's homage to San Diego's world famous Little Italy district. Family owned for more than 40 years, the property consists of three Art Deco-era bungalows and one studio and graced with a secluded patio for private relaxation. Situated "in the heart of Little Italy", the property is one block from the central Piazza della Famiglia and one block from the famed India Street restaurant quarter. Upgraded in 2018 to 'mini villas' for short or long-term stays, Villa Little Italy is the ideal location for a quiet retreat or further exploration of this historic and picturesque neighborhood and greater San Diego.
