Site of a commercial aquaponics greenhouse that produces leafy greens and herbs for local restaurants and markets, Emerald Springs is also home to a small herd of American Alpine dairy goats who produce milk and cheese for the family.

The space
The space is very private, with a separate entrance. A large sliding glass door opens onto the pool deck, while the inner door opens onto a sitting room with a working fireplace.
A small half bath is located nearby as is the laundry. Upstairs the shared spaces include a large, fully equipped kitchen, large formal dining room and living room, large full bath, a front porch with comfortable chairs and a back deck that overlooks the pastures and greenhouse.
Enjoy the grounds which include a hardwood forest, bamboo jungle and springs, a small orchard and mature pecan trees.

This is a small, tidy rural neighborhood. We are 1 mile from Tryon Riding and Hunt Club, site of WEG parking and shuttles. We are 7 miles from Columbus NC and Landrum SC. We are about 1/2 hour north of Spartanburg and about 40 minutes south of Asheville.

We will be here most of the time. Because we have farm work we may be busy but will always try to help out with information and directions. When we’re not working we’d be happy to spend some time talking with interested guests and to give tours of the farm.
