This room features a queen sized bed and amazing decorations. The room is built as an addition to a converted barn built around 1900. The farm consists of 10 acres with an orchard and is along the Conewango Creek. Conveniently located within the Allegheny National Forest and the Kinzua Dam area near Warren, PA and in close proximity to Jamestown, NY and Chautauqua Lake. Great hiking all around.
We do not charge additional fees except for extra guests, pets and if you chose to have breakfast.
The space
Carousel Bed and Breakfast is decorated in tasteful antiques and reproductions from our onsite store Ruff Acres Antiques. The Conewango Room is equipped with a combo shower tub. To enhance the ambiance of the rooms we've incorporated back lit stained glass. As well as the other amenities we also provide a separate television, gas fireplace, air conditioner, microwave and refrigerator in each room. The room has a gorgeous mahogany bedroom suite which features a wonderful queen size bed, a large lowboy dresser and two nightstands. The set is so large that the tall boy dresser is in the foyer. The bathroom features a dresser with a sink placed in it, and is large enough that there is even and extra chair, purchased from the Waldorf Astoria.
There is a 1200 square foot area in the back of the antique shop that is available for hosting all types of parties, we have hosted wedding and baby showers as well as teas for smaller groups and bigger groups as our local antique study group or even groups like the Daughters of the American Revolution! Please message me if you May be interested.

In order to keep prices lower for our Airbnb guests prices quoted do not include breakfast. We would love to serve you breakfast. It is served on antique china (Nippon Azalea Pattern made circa 1902) and juice and fruit are served in Pink Depression glass (Poppy Pattern, circa 1930). We take pride in our breakfast and we make sure no one goes away hungry. Breakfasts starts with Juice and Coffee, a homemade jumbo muffin (at times made from fruits grown in the orchard on the farm), often applesauce (also homemade from our orchard) or another fruit, usually a carb of some type, pancakes, waffles, French toast (a guest favorite) a protein such as bacon, sausage or ham. We give generous portions and seconds are usually available. We charge $20 for a single person or $30 for a couple. If you have extra guests in a room they will be charged an additional $15 per person. Please add this to the amount you are paying so that we know to prepare breakfast for you. We do prepare breakfasts for our guests that may have special diets, please let us know about these in advance so we can be sure to have appropriate meals available for you.

From the host
Located just outside of the center of town it's very quiet and peaceful while still being close to shopping centers. We do maintain good relationships with our neighbors but they are generally far enough away that they don't disturb anyone even if they do have an occasional party or barking dogs. The township does do a fireworks display in the center of town for Memorial Day, we are close enough that the display can be watched from the deck, and far enough away that you don't have to worry about the crowds or traffic.

What makes my home unique: Use of a lot of antiques
I am an antique dealer but had worked for many years in the dairy industry and worked with some of the best cattle. I also worked for many years as a Nursing Home Administrator. I enjoy conversing with our guests and love it when they come for breakfast. As an antique dealer my home is full of unique and beautiful antiques.
