The Space

I am located in a quiet hillside village called Moiano, on the edge of the Monte Lattari National Park overlooking Ischia, Procida and Capri along The Sorrento Coast/ Bay of Naples. It is an easy bus ride or car drive away from Vico Equense which in turn is 15 minutes by train to Sorrento and Pompei, on the Sorrento Coast. The location is conveniently located within walking distance of a bus stop, mini-supermarkets, coffee bars and pizzerias.

About the rooms and B&B

My home has a private entrance and a common terrace with a special view of the coast, where you can have a seat and enjoy the sunshine and perhaps a drink or two!

The kitchen is large, modern and equipped with appliances and amenities you are free to use! Plus there is a living room where you are free to relax, TV/DVD player along with a large selection of films and books.

The Master Bedroom is very spacious with it’s own private terrace. (An extra bed can be added for an additional guest - please inquire about pricing). The room comes with a private en-suite bathroom with shower. There is a bedroom right next door suitable for 2 children.

My smaller Guestroom is a cozy, comfortable space, with a large shared/semi-private bathroom that’s equipped with shower/bathtub.

… and what else?
Breakfast is complimentary.
Clean linen, shampoo, soap and towels are also included.
A washing machine is available (for a minimal charge per load).
Guided walks/hikes around the area can also be arranged, as well as lovely prepared dinners 'at home' or cooking instruction.
And to make your arrival easier I will meet you at the Circumvesuviana Train Station in Vico Equense to accompany you up to my home.

What’s Nearby?
The neighbouring town of Vico Equense is a lovely city where you can sit back, enjoy a cappuccino and take in the fantastic views of the coast & the surrounding ambiance, relax in the sun at a local beach, or pick any of its great local restaurants and bars for a fabulous meal, or simply enjoy a gelato.

The rest of the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Naples and Pompeii await you, and I can help get you get there! As always, I provide lots of info and free maps to help you plan your day and I'm always available!

  • Peter was a most gracious host and really helpful regarding everything in the region.
His house is in a village above Vico Equense with superb views from his terrace over the coastline to Sorrento and Capri. It was a perfect base for us to explore the Amalfi coastline and to view the coast from the mountains above.
We really loved our stay and feel lucky to have stayed with Peter.

  • Peter is always a gracious host! This is my second trip there and I will most certainly go back. He is so helpful with helping me to learn how to get around and what sites I need to see when I am there. He cooked one night using fresh ingredients grown in his garden! I just adore this area of Italy and can't wait to return!

  • So where do you go to get off the treadmill of long hours at work in order to relax? Peter's B & B provided the perfect place for me to stop, unwind and enjoy the incredible experiences that this part of the world has to offer.
It is set away from tourists and the noise and pace of the city, yet close enough to still connect with the many stunning locations in the surrounding areas for meals, shops, sights, walks and tours if you get the urge.

You will have incredible views across the valley to the sea while very much becoming a part of a 'village' experience. This B & B has everything you need to enjoy your stay, providing a very authentic 'home' which includes Peter's seasonal garden of fresh produce.

Peter knows exactly how best to cater for your needs; supportive and helpful without being intrusive. He will provide you with all the information you need regarding great places to visit as well as how best to get there via the local buses and trains.

I cannot recommend the experience at Peter's B & B highly enough, an absolute gem which I will certainly be returning to.

  • We had a great stay at Peters B&B. A home away from home. It was a good launching point for us to visit Pompei, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. It's important to note that the bus normally runs about once an hour, but was erratic at times. A car is an option, but roads needs some getting used to.

Peter is a great host and his accommodation and especially the views of the coat line is exceptional.

  • We had a wonderful stay with Peter on the amalfi coast! He is the consummate host - courteous, kind, immensely helpful, easygoing and fun to be around. We spoke very little Italian and Peter was so kind to help us make friends in the area and show us places and people that tourists never see. His home is beautiful - we had lovely dinners on the patio each night that had gorgeous views of both the mountains and sea and perhaps the most beautiful sunsets we've ever seen. It was a truly special place with plenty of space and even our own private balcony. We can't wait to go back!

  • Peter's bedroom with private bath was wonderful. We were looking for a room with a view, off of the main tourist path and Peter's place was that and more. The bedroom and bath are a brand new remodel and Peter was a gracious host, plenty for breakfast and he cooked us dinner, as well, one night. We love the place and was one of the best AirB&B experiences that we had. Thank you, again, Peter!

  • We had a great time in Moiano at Peter's place. Even though the 15 minute drive up the mountain from Vico Equense was initally a bit of a worry, we soon got used to it. Moiano and Vico has plenty of cheap restaurants that do excellent food. Vico is also an excellent location - not too far from Naples, Pompeii, Vesuvius and the Amalfi Coast. Peter was very helpful in recommending us restaurants and places of interest. The house was clean, the view from the private terrace was to die for. If you are after a quiet holiday away from all the tourists, this would be perfect. It also helps that English is Peter's first language!

  • We had a fantastic time at Peter's place. It is a lovely location in the mountains and Peter is fantastic. He was very warm and welcoming and looked after us and we felt very comfortable in his home. I went alone with my 2 girls and we all enjoyed the location and Peter's company. Peter is a great cook and has lots of vegetables growing in his garden and he made these available to us.
I was glad he could communicate in English as it helped with being able to organise day trips etc.
Thank you Peter - we will be back.

  • We really enjoyed staying at Peter's place. He's an easygoing person who shares a lot of good information about the area, advice for nice trips, restaurant info, places for swimming,.... His house is beautifully located on a mountain, offering superb views over the valley and the coast. It's quite a drive up to find it, but that's part of the fun. He runs a very tidy place with enough space, a huge terrace and everything that's needed for a comfortable stay. He even grows his own vegetables and fruit, which he kindly shares when you're preparing a meal.
At night, all the dogs in the valley can make a bit of noise, but that's nothing a pair of earplugs can't fix, and it's obviously part of rural life.
Overall, we highly recommend the place and if we'd ever decide to go back to that area, we already know where we'll want to stay.
