  • Staying at Heather's was AMAZING. I couldn't think of a better way to spend 4 days in Austin. The location was walkable to so many great places near SoCo and South Lamar. Even my friends who live in Austin were jealous of our digs. I already highly recommended the apartment to all my friends!!

  • Our stay in Heather's condo was absolutely fantastic! So cute, clean, cozy! The condo was located in a great location (although we had a rental car so that made it easy to get around). I would highly recommend her condo if you are looking for a nice Austin weekend getaway!

  • Great condo and perfect location for us. Directly across the street from Zilker Park where we took our three year old grandson. We will book with you next time we come to Austin. Thanks Heather....

  • Very comfortable and clean place to stay for a quick trip to SXSW. Thanks Heather. The quite neighborhood had some good restaurants near by - 15 min walk.

  • This space is exactly as shown in the pictures and was very comfortable for two people. The condo building looks a bit worn, but the apartment itself is nicely renovated.

Nice neighborhood with a lot of restaurants, bars and Zilker park very close by. South Congress Park & Downtown are within

Heather is very responsive to any inquiries & her instructions for checking in/out were perfect. Her guidebook was extremely useful.
    Thanks Heather.

  • Heather's condo was all everyone else has said; I'll just say that our stay could not have been better, from the quality of the accommodations to the convenient location to Heather's generosity in sharing, her communications were warm and responsive, and she has a nice library of DVDs. This was our first airbnb experience, Why wasn't I told?

  • My wife, our 1.5 year old son, and I stayed in Heather's condo for a couple of nights. We loved it. The condo had everything that we needed, and it was comfortable and clean. The location is great -- it is close to many of the best things that Austin has to offer. The neighborhood was great too. We were pleased to find a park/playground right across the street. Heather was an excellent host -- she communicated very well, and checking in and out was easy. Thank you Heather!

  • Heather was a great host. Everything was made very clear from the get-go, and she was quick to answer any questions I had. The condo is very cute, and in a hip part of town. Would come back here again any time I need to visit Austin.

  • Heather was highly accomodating to my mother while she visited Austin. My mother enjoyed her stay and highly recommends Heather's place to anyone!

We LOVE Austin, TX!! We do, just love it. We also love to travel but will always call Austin home. There is just something so genuine and cool about it. We bought our condo in 2006 and completely remodeled it, not a task we would do again, but we are very happy we did. We live here with our beloved shih-tzu, Mila who we adopted from Wee Rescue shortly after we moved in. She is fabulous. Important things to know about us, we love to entertain and cook and while our home is small we believe it reflects those qualities. In a former career, I was an interior designer, so, it was important to make sure our home was as cozy as possible before we offered it up to others. When traveling, we have always had the best experiences when we have stayed with someone or at least in someone's home. Hotels have their amenities, but the absolute best way to feel like you're really in a city is to stay in the community with the people who live there. Our neighborhood is particularly proud with the motto "78704 it's not just a zip code, it's a lifestyle." We house everyone from hippies to millionaires, and most days you can't tell the difference. We love it! Should you stay in our home we are always happy to share recommendations for what to do while in town and if we don't know about something, we usually know someone who does. Maybe most important, we can talk you through the streets of Austin. If you're not from here the fact that a single street can have up to 4 different names can confuse even the most GPS savvy person. Getting lost in an unknown city can be one of the greatest parts of the trip but should you ever find yourself a little too lost, feel free to call and we can usually talk you through to your destination. Feel free to drop us a note if you have any questions. We're happy to share and we hope you will come stay in our home and visit this wonderful city.
