About this listing
I bought this condo 6 years ago. It's a brand new building with very kind people living in the building. It's about 10 steps to the major subway hub. You're next to the 2/3, 4/5, B/D, and N/R trains. It takes less than 15 min to get from here to the heart of Manhattan. And the best part is that this part of Brooklyn is so cute. I'm in walking distance from dozens of super cute restaurants, cafes, yoga studios, two gyms, the Brooklyn Art Museum (BAM), three movie theaters, and tons of botique shopping. My apt is in the intersection of Park Slope, Fort Greene, and Cobble Hill. It's green around here, birds chirp, leaves turn colors in the fall, etc. Manhattan is loud and busy. It's fun to come back to Brooklyn at the end of a day in the city.
Everything in my apt is less than 6 years old, so everything is in great condition. I have the place cleaned 3 times a month so it's always shining.
There is free, secure wifi, towels, a fully stalked kitchen, a laundry machine and drier too (very rare for NYC). There is also a gym in the building and a 24 hour doorman. It's a very safe neighborhood. There is a parking garage downstairs and I have cable TV with all the channels.
The apt has one bedrooms and two bathrooms.
There is a mosque across the street so you will hear the call to prayer a few times throughout the day. They don't do the prayer call at sunrise, so the first time you'd hear it is about 10am.
I will be traveling for the holiday in Africa and looking for someone to rent the the apt while I'm gone. I'm a non-profit executive and work very hard while I'm not on vacation!
Yes! 5 steps away from every major subway line.
I founded a non-profit in NYC 6 years ago. We serve inner city middle school students and give them 3 more hours of learning time a day. It's amazing work, highly rewarding, and very intense. I work very hard during the week, but also appreciate my down time a lot.
