Sandilands is spacious, sunny and very comfortable in a retro-atmosphere.The views and accessibility to the beach was much appreciated.
My second time at Janet's house and everything was just as perfect as the first time.
I'm very thankful for the central heating as its starting to get cool in Warrnambool!
We had good and prompt communication with Janet and we were met with the keys and given a tour of the house. The house was delightful and the location excellent and peaceful.
Janet was a great host! Although we were unable to meet face to face, she was always quick in responding to emails, texts and phone calls. She gave clear instructions to ensure we had a comfortable stay.
We loved Sandilands and the retro vibe of the home. The home made us feel relaxed straight away. Janet has done a really good job in the way the house has been set up. It also had a fantastic outlook, and it was very peaceful. We would highly recommend Sandilands and Janet as a host.
Thank you Janet for a fantastic home and allowing us to enjoy it.
Janet was very welcoming and thorough with instructions. Janet's house is perfect if you're looking for somewhere you can relax and feel at home. The house is very clean and has a wonderful garden with fruit trees and roses out the front.
It has a lovely view of the ocean and is close to the town.
I stayed here alone for work, however it's the perfect size house for two couples.
Also fast WiFi internet is available :)
Loved this house. Janet provides a very comfy home with a beautiful outlook and sense of light and quiet even though close to the centre of town and beaches.
We loved the character of this house with what seemed to be a lot of the original furniture which fitted in with its style. Everything was in great condition and very clean. It's a relief to stay somewhere which isn't sterile and 'modern', a place which is clearly loved.
We love the small city of Warrnambool with it's great beaches and natural beauty, but we also adore travel and interacting and meeting with different cultures and people. Janet has worked as a film-maker and teacher. Jeff works in hospitality. We admire mid-century design and architecture, 'arthouse' cinema, vegetable gardens, animals and birds, and are recent converts to the joys of Lawn bowling. 'Sandilands' is our holiday house. We think it has retro charm and gorgeous views - and we look forward to sharing it with you
