My beautiful house dates from 1875 and is 5 minutes walk from the centre of town in a quiet conservation area. The room itself is on the ground floor and is a spacious double with a double bed, sofa, desk, and plenty of storage space. The price includes towels and bedding and broadband, fuel and local taxes and a continental breakfast which is left on the kitchen table for you from 7am in the morning for you to help yourself. The room also has a pleasant view from the large bay window and there's lots of free parking one minute's walk from the house. You will have access to my well equipped kitchen/living room.
The Playwright Restaurant, is in my opinion, the best restaurant in Dundee! The Dundee Contemporary Arts Centre is a short walk away, and has exhibitions from international artists, print and photography courses and workshops, and has two cinemas which show fantastic foreign films, and some great classics as well! Theres now also the chance to see live opera shown from the met in the newly refurbished cinemas and you can take in your gin and tonic as well! The two universities are also within walking distance too.
My home is a great place for you to start exploring Dundee!

I had a very nice stay with Kathleen during February and she was very nice and frequently came by to hear if things were okay. She has a nice house with rooms that have what you need when being "away-from-home" and a well-equipped kitchen, so it is possible to cook what ever you feel like.
All-in-all a very pleasant stay and a good value for money.
Kathleen is an excellent host! She's very easy to get along with and is extremely helpful, fixing any problem big or small. I spent two month in her apartment and I had a very good stay there. The location is very convenient, just a short walk uphill from the city center.
Please refer to my email lodged on your complaints section on 14.08.14 AND to my emails sent at 10pm 12.08.14
It was indeed unfortunate that you chose to mention none of your complaints to me during your stay and to also leave before your stay was up without leaving any note or explanation. We were very worried about you and had to contact airbnb to find out what had happened.i hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay I enjoyed meeting you and chatting with you
Room was perfect, bright, clean and spacious with lovely ensuite shower room, and in a nice quiet area of town. Wifi was extremely useful as I had some work to do while there. Kathleen was very welcoming, and the breakfast was exactly as ordered, thank you! A short walk from town, but it is up a steep hill (Dundee is a very hilly place so it's hard to avoid those hills!)
A lovely big house, my bedroom was very comfortable with the ensure bathroom. Kathleen is very friendly and we had some amazing conversations. It is easy to walk to the town centre.
Kathleen is a really nice host and gave us some good tips about Dundee.
The house is well located and you can walk down to the city. It is a big house where more people stay for visiting Dundee or for staying longer.
Unfortunately our room wasn't that clean as we expected it, I think that's a thing Kathleen could improve.
Kathleen was wicked host with amazing energy and a awesome outlook on life. She always made sure I was ok and notified me about everything I needed. The room was lovely. It was an easy stay. I would recommend her to anyone and when back in dundee will hopefully stay with her again. She's a funny and lovely lady.

My beautiful house dates from 1857 and is 5 minutes walk from the centre of town, in a quiet conservation area.
I think the most important thing in life is to never say anything to another person that could not stand as the very last thing you ever said to that person and that friendship is the most important thing in life.
