Enjoy our country home all to yourself, in a pleasant neighborhood of rural Eveleth. Spacious yard and campfire to relax and have your s’mores!

Conveniently located just off the highway, and easy to find.

No part of this guest home, yard, parking, or property has any shared spaces with other guests. It’s all yours!

And while we’re talking about other guests—hey—bring them along! We are a very economical stay for large families & large groups, so bring the whole family, and a few friends too!

The space
Features include a full, spacious kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, AeroPress, and coffee bean grinder. The cupboards are supplied with pots and pans, utensils, and dishes.

Dining area and living room are connected to the kitchen in a large L shape, giving a fairly spacious feel to the living area. There is a dining table, two long couches, and a comfy wingback chair.

Enjoy sitting out in the chairs on the deck watching the birds at the feeders!

The living room has a smart tv equipped with a DVD player, and hooked up to the WiFi. Feel free to sign in to your Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, etc, and stream a movie. Or watch YouTube vids (my fave!). There is a very small selection of children’s DVDs available at the guest house. (Local channels not available.)

The main bedroom has a king bed. Bedroom #2 has a twin-over-full bunk bed. Bedroom #3 has a twin bed, and a twin trundle bed underneath. Bedroom #4 is located in the basement (no egress) and has both a queen bed and a twin bed. There are 2 long couches in the living room, that can be used as sleeping spaces. Also, 1 queen air mattress and 2 twin air mattresses are available, for use with your own sleeping bag/bedding. A pack-n-play, and 2 crib size mattresses for the floor, are also available (the crib mattresses have sheets on them, ready to go). Some spare blankets can be found in the bedroom closets. If your family needs more sleeping space than this listing mentions, simply contact me. We will work with you to accommodate any size family or large group.

Washer and dryer, laundry folding table, and a laundry basket are available in the basement—as well as a few detergent pods to get your laundry needs started.

Guest access
There is a campfire area with log seating and a picnic table in the spacious yard, and it includes a campfire grilling rack. All 3 garage stalls are available for parking, if desired. Lots of parking available in the driveway that you’ll have all to yourself. There’s more than enough room to park an RV, trailer, or boat right in the driveway. And currently lots of campfire wood available for your use in the provided campfire ring!

A small swing set is available for family fun in the front yard! It includes an adult capacity swing, a child swing, and a toddler swing.

Property includes 21 acres of mostly wooded land that guests are welcome to explore, and directly adjoins 80 acres of state owned land. There is a map available to guests of our property lines. If you’d like to hunt on the property (or the state land behind it), please contact me before booking so we can discuss the property borders.

Other things to note
Please take a close look at the pictures to decide on the current condition of the home for yourself—new photos will be added or updated whenever possible, and will reflect the current condition. As more of the remodeling/fixing is finished, the pictures will be added or updated.

This home is mostly finished inside, but is under continual upgrading/remodeling between guests. Things like some trim in a bedroom are missing—many other little things are missing or needing touch ups too. The 2 decks are very weathered/rustic and not finished, one even has a few repaired rails. Pretty much all of the windows have curtains now, except the kitchen (see photos). Please expect things to NOT be fully finished at this time, including the yard. We try our best to have the lawn freshly mowed before your stay, but it may not have been. The flower beds may be freshly weeded, or they may not. It will entirely depend on timing.

Please note that one side of the basement is currently being used to store some items and remodeling supplies (the side opposite from the laundry area). This does not affect the living space or laundry area that you’ll be using during your stay in any way, but it’s just something to note.

The garage also has some stored items along the edges (see photo) and has a large pile of campfire wood. The garage is nothing pretty, but it’s there and it’s available, and will keep your vehicle out of the weather if you like.

Also note, due to the rural location, the WiFi is a satellite service. It works well the majority of the time. However, I believe satellite services can have more issues in bad weather. It is the only WiFi service available for this rural home.
