Space has about anything needed but just in case I live on the second floor and can loan what is needed.
Interaction with Guests
This is brand new so it hasn't happened yet. It's probably up to them. The stairway to the third floor is beside the entrance to my house on the second level so we will be likely to see each other when they enter
It is a quiet walkway so no traffic noise. The walkway is charming with murals and garden areas along it. It is very close to major shopping and restaurants. Walk one way to the jardin, another to the Instituto which is close.
At the end of the walkway (about half a block) is a major bus stop and one of the best places in town for taxis.
Other Things to Note
The kitchenette is small so not for major cooking. It is perfect for breakfast, snacks or heating up last night's doggie bag. The space would also work for entertaining outside and the kitchen has enough space and dishes to manage a small gathering.
Two plush bathrobes are included as well as hairdryer, WiFi and cable tv with English channels.
smoke only outside. Don't make too much noise. No dogs since I have three cats. The cats may want to visit so if that's a problem, keep the door to the unit closed. The doors to the terraces face the other direction so can be left open if you choose.
A "studio with a view". This property exceeded our expectations. Located on a quiet pedestrian street, perhaps 10 minutes walk from Le Jardin, you have the feeling of being very much in the center of things. It has been designed by the artist and owner, Suzy, and has a decidedly architectural sensibility. A comfortable and edited interior, with an abundance of glass windows, leads out onto a furnished and landscaped terrace. Loved the potted lemon trees. Perfect spot for enjoying the great view of the "Parrocchia" and "temple Las Monjas". When we weren't out exploring the town, this is where we hung out. Suzy was very helpful with suggestions, and a provided map of the town proved invaluable. Altogether a great stay, with an abundance of good Karma.
Suzy's place is a studio type apartment in the third floor of a modern building. The bedroom / kitchen is spacious and comfortable with a lot of natural light through the front windows. Very nice stone bathroom. The fireplace is a nice touch for those romantics. Suzy was very warm and non obtrusive. The apartment is located in a very nice little cobblestone street, and only 5 minutes from the center. Highly recommended for couples.
Our experience with Susy's Penthouse wad excellent every second. She was kind enough to check on our progress in the highway (there was haavy rain) and waited for us to open th gate and welcome us. The penthouse: amazing. Beautiful place, the terrace is gorgeous, and the stone bathroom, what an experience. Thank You Susy for a lovely experience; you are a super host.
Had a great stay here. Host let us stay a little late on the day we were going to check out due to a large parade in the area. Thanks again!
Beautiful apartment in a great location! The patio views are stunning. Suzy is a wonderful, welcoming host.
Suzy made us very welcome. The apartment is on a very quiet lane but very easy to walk into town. We would definitely return.
I am a longtime visitor to San Miguel and I can confidently say Suzy's penthouse is hard to beat for location (5-minute walk to La Parroquia for example), silence (always an issue when staying downtown), terrace views (you could spend your whole San Miguel holiday on Suzy's terrace) and overall price-for-quality ratio. And don't forget to check out Suzy's wonderful gallery downstairs as well.

About the Host, Suzy
I am an interior designer who turned to painting. I worked in NYC for 20 years where I also studied painting at the Art Students League. I then moved to CT to have more room to paint.
I moved to San Miguel 8 years ago. I built on a vacant lot and have a gallery on the ground floor, my home on the second and this space on the third. I designed the entire place and the paintings and furniture in the gallery are all my work.
