Jason was a great host - very helpful with directions and he even let us borrow his kayak (we took it out on Grout Pond - 8 miles up the road - with our other single kayak) and his mountain bikes. The cottage was quiet, cozy and private and we really enjoyed using the fire pit and the grill. The house is well stocked with vinyl which was a nice treat to play while cooking! We especially loved that we were able to bring our dog along with us. We can't wait to visit Jamaica / Stratton again!
Jason was a great host, great comunication and his place was fantastic. WE had such a great time, we can not wait to go back in the winter.
I had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Jason was incredibly helpful with directions and the place was exactly as described. A wonderful quiet retreat, not too off the beaten track :) Great location and wonderful host. I hope to return!
Great place, has everything you need! Host was very helpful with directions and advice.
We had a wonderful time at Jasons Place. He is a great host. You will find the house just as described, the woods and surroundings are fantastic.
It is only a short drive to beautiful lakes to swim at.
Had a great time in Jason's cabin. From the time of booking the whole process was smooth. The property is spacious and it's proximity to Stratton is amazing.
It slept 5 people comfortably, it was clean, and the record collection is awesome. I would recommend staying here.
The cottage was perfect for a quick getaway. Well maintained and all the amenities, including a great supply of records, which was a pleasant surprise. Jason was a great host and we certainly will be back with our son and dogs!

About the Host, Jason
Hi, I'm Jason. I work as an environmental engineer and I also run a social business (called Toilets for People) that works for charity organizations in the developing world where there is a lack of proper sanitation. We make, and teach people how to make, composting toilets using local materials (so I travel a lot). Most of the time, I live in Park Slope, Brooklyn but I also spend a good amount of time (especially during maple sugarin' season!) in Jamaica, Vermont (near Stratton) where I rent out two other vacation houses that are also listed on Airbnb.
