Place is near to Zermatt however airbnb location is slightly far and has up and down slope. Will be inconvenient if travelling with heavy luggages. Surrounding gets really dark in the night

The chalet was exactly as described. The kitchen had plenty of equipment for a nice meal, Migros is right next door. It was quiet, with only the sound of rushing water to sleep by. Close to the train and a perfect base for exploration. Great water pressure in the shower! The Brazilian music was a bonus.

Me and my wife stayed at Mauro and Rebeccca's chalet for around 2 days and absolutely loved it. It is right in the middle of nature and Mauro's instructions too reach the house were good. It will be much easier to reach it if you arrive by Car. Arriving by train or bus also is not too difficult. Always arriving during the day will be easier as you can easily search for the chalet then. All the amenities at the chalet were as posted on the description. The chalet is perfect for 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children maybe but not for 4 adults I feel. There is no wifi but the chalet and its location is so amazing that you will not miss it. We would strongly recommend staying here for a few days and it is an absolutely amazing getaway location accommodation. Mauro/ Rebecca - Thanks for hosting us here and our stay was absolutely fantastic. Somesh.

Everything was as-described. It's hard to beat the value of Mauro's place. We arrived at night by car and finding the place was a bit tricky but Mauro's directions definitely helped. Migro's is nearby if you need anything and there's tons of hiking in the area.

The drive to Mauro's chalet is absolutely incredible! The location is astounding - not necessarily great if you're looking for lots of people around, but there are some larger cities within a 30 min drive. The chalet was quiet, private, and we enjoyed hearing the bells on the goats on the mountain right behind the chalet. Definitely a unique experience that we'll remember for a long time!

Situated in a great location & very private. Although there is no cleaning service it was very clean and various cleaning products were available. I would deferentially recommend to anyone who is visiting Zermatt and the surrounding villages.

The chalet is very cute, homey and quiet. You can hear the creek behind it running. We found the place clean and well equipped for its size (No WiFi though). While it can accommodate up to 4 people, it may be more comfortable for 2 because the other 2 beds take up some space in the living room. For us as a family we didn't have any problem because we were out most of the time. It's quite a distance from St. Niklaus train station. If you like walking, then it's not a problem. But with a lot of luggage or with an older member of the family it can be tiring and cumbersome at times. We took a bus from the train station to the nearest bus station and still had to walk quite a bit. We had a Swiss Travel Pass so it's not a problem taking a train to Zermatt but if you don't you have to factor that in. But overall I think it's a really good value place to stay and it's cute and quaint.
