A cosy new apartment to rent in a privileged position in historical part of Venice, only 30 mt from Grand Canal. A room with a double bed, small room with a table and small fridge, bathroom with a shower. Grand Canal view, air condition, TV, 3rd floor, elevator, for two people. 96 euros per night.
Very easy to locate - right next door to the San Simeone Piccolo church, which is directly opposite the San Lucia station. We met Danny, Elisa's assistant, who was very helpful in introducing us to the apartment and recommending where to eat to avoid the usual tourist traps. Easy enough to walk to Rialto bridge and St Mark's square just by knowing the general direction to walk and there are also prominent signs on buildings indicating the direction of major landmarks. Apartment is slightly larger than photos suggest, with a good-sized bathroom. Would definitely stay again! (:
Our stay at Elisa's apartment was better than we had expected! The apartment really isn't so small, and the location is great! It is easy to find and very close to the train station, eliminating the need to take luggage through the streets of Venice. The apartment also appears to have been renovated and is nicer than the pictures suggest. Would definitely return!
The apartment was well located, close to the train station (handy for a day trip to Verona) and the vaporetti (water buses), which were a good option for seeing a lot of Venice on a rainy day. We also liked that the apartment was very clean and that there was an elevator. Danny, Elisa's assistent, was very helpful with some suggestions on where to go and where to eat. Also, when we needed his assistence he came to the apartment within 15 minutes.
I stayed at Elisa's (website hidden) for 3 nights in February. The location was very convenient located right across from the train station and attached to the San Simeone Piccolo. It's about a mile walk to San Marco Square which was no problem and made for nice stroll through the Venice streets. I checked in with Elisa's associate, Maria, and she was very helpful and provided me with some recommendations on where to eat and go.
Very central cute and cosy apartment, perfect for short stays, for longer we may want a kitchen. Elisa was very flexible with the check out times and her friendly assistant Maria helped us with all our questions. We really enjoyed our stay.
Elisa's small apartment was a great value find in such a popular city. As we were travelling on a budget to find such a cheap price anywhere in Venice, let alone for it to have a double bed, a private bathroom and toilet was delightful. It is located right across from the train station and is so close to the Grand Canal, this was perfect for us and added a world of convenience. There were no problems with walking everywhere, it was too easy to reach San Marco, Elisa's assistant said it would take an hour and it took us about half that. Surrounded by a world of culture and experience this was an ideal location.
Elisa was easy to communicate with and her assistant who welcomed us on arrival was very helpful and friendly. We have no complaints about this listing and would highly recommend it.
Thanks Elisa for having us!
Great place, convenient to tons of shops and restaurants. Being near the train station was great because we didn't have to take our bags far on arrival or departure. Also, all the boats stop near the train station, so it was very easy to get to the rest of the city. The apartment was quiet and clean, and having an elevator was a great help.
Location was great, really easy to get to, 2 min. walk from the train station. Slightly less touristy part of town. Maria was able to meet us a little later than planned when our train got delayed. She also have great suggestions on places to eat at visit. We had a great visit!
Cosy, clean appartment, exactly like it is on the photos, windows well closing, bathroom with well working shower and toilet. This appartment is ideal for two people willing to discover Venice, a few steps from the railway station and the main vaporetto lines or even to dive into Santa Croce right behind the house. We didn`t meet Elisa, but Maria, her assistant, who waited for us at the meeting point (we all were in time). She showed us all what we had to know in a very kind way and gave us some very useful recommendations where to go for dinner.
Result: we can really recommend this appartment!
the apartment was as pictured. was very clean upon arrival.
i was on my own but very large with lounge in bedroom, and seperate room with wardrobe and desk.
perfect location just across from the train station (which means only one bridge to cross with luggage!); so also walkable to either waterbus stops or to several of the areas around.
maria (who met for the key handover) was very friendly and helpful. explained everything in detail and provided some eating recommendations too.
internet would have been a nice to have being an international traveller, but i would still definitely recommend the apartment
