About this listing
Real bed in newly remodeled 3bd 3ba unit in 19th century Victorian. A block away from shops, cafes, & restaurants of Fillmore St. Walk to Lafayette & Alta Parks, bus lines, and even cable cars! Walk score 98 and transit score 86!
You will be in a private room with a full size bed. The bathroom is in the hall but it is a 3 bed 3 bath so don't worry about waiting for the shower!
The main level of the unit features an open floor plan where you can enjoy the modern amenities of a newly remodeled kitchen or relax on the couch. You will also have access to a washer and dryer.
This room sleeps two in a real bed. Need to bring a larger crew? Check out my other room which can sleep a total of three: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/2374370
You will have access to the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. My room is "off limits" but make yourself at home outside of that!
Interaction with Guests
I have a day job so I might not be around a ton during the week but I like to try and connect with everyone who comes through for a bit. I live in the unit so I'm sure we will catch up but I'll respect your space.
The one thing I love most about this place is the location! You can walk about a block to the heart of Fillmore Street for cafes, shops, restaurants, and just about anything you need. If you want to explore the city, we are a few blocks from two great parks, a half a mile to the cable cars, and a one-mile walk through Pacific Heights' magnificent "Gold Coast" to the beautiful and historic Presidio.
The location is also very well served by the bus system. The central location puts the whole city in reach!
The location has a walk score of 98, a transit score of 86, and the roads are great if you aren't afraid to tackle a hill or two by bike.
This is city living. Parking can be a little tough, but, fortunately, you don't really need a car.
Several bus lines stop within 2-3 blocks so you can get anywhere.
Lyft and Uber are very easy ways to get around. Download the respective apps on a smartphone and you can hail a private driver directly to you within minutes. If you're a first timer, use the promo codes below and we will both get a free ride!

Other Things to Note
I have a selection of cereal for breakfast and plenty of coffee.
Also, please note the strict cancellation policy. Please don't book until you're sure you're coming!
My building has official quiet hours starting at 10 pm. No one is crazy about enforcement, but that does mean no late, noisy parties.
This is very much city living and, as such, outdoor space is scarce. To be respectful to others in the building, I don't allow smoking on the property. The neighborhood is great for a stroll if you'd like to smoke.
Feel free to use the kitchen and the washer/dryer, but please clean up after yourself!
Please keep the unit locked when you leave.
No smoking anywhere on the property.
Everything was great and exactly as described. Jay did a good job letting us know what to expect, where to eat and being accommodating to our travel itinerary. Having the extra lock to the bedroom helped give us peace of mind before exploring the city.
The listing was 100% accurate, Jay wasn't in town but his friend was who was really helpful to me for finding my way around San Francisco.
The place is new and very clean; the bed and linens are very comfortable; the bathroom is extremely good; the location is good, you can get to downtown in minutes with taxi, uber/lyft, bike or bus. I would stay here again.
Listing was spot on accurate from the pictures, very clean and nice place. It was my first time in SF and was there for the night-it was perfect.
Jay's place is very nice and well maintained. The bathroom is great and there is a nice kitchen area to work with, all though we enjoyed eating out a bunch, it was nice to have. The house is located very close to Filmore St. where there are lots of restaurants, bars and shops. Good neighborhood for walking around and close to lots of other things.
Jay was an awesome host and all the reviews were accurate about the nice quality place and awesome location with lots to do within walking distance. That said, next time we might opt for a place with more privacy (not having our bathroom in hallway and other people staying there) and it would've been awesome if San Fran places had air conditioning during their warm weather! It was great having access to the fridge and cereal coffee though and we would consider staying there again in the future!

About the Host, Jay
I am a San Franciscan originally from St. Louis but I came here by way of Colorado. In my free time I love exploring this city and others. I'd love to swap stories and ideas of fun things to do in SF and elsewhere!
Drop me a message if you're coming to town!
