Pre approval is required in advance for any pet stay. Dogs only may be approved. Under no circumstance is your pet allowed to be left unattended in the home. A pet left alone in a strange environment can disrupt other residents or do damage to the home.

The coolest hosts reside in the upper level :)
Just to be clear you have the entire Lower (ground) Level to yourself which includes private entrance and all of the amenities mentioned within. While this is a private home someone (us!) lives in the upper level.
Theres been some confusion since Airbnbs options for listing don’t specifically address this type of property so I want to reiterate, the units are very separate and private like a condo would be but it’s just us who live on the property :)

We’re the perfect alternative stay to the area hotels if you’re coming to golf, mountain bike, ski, spartan race, wedding, reunion or just a get away. In any season there’s tons to do and the views never disappoint.
Eat in or out- everything you need in a kitchen to make a home cooked meal is provided; pots, pans, utensils, spices etc.
The porch overlooking the lake is covered to enjoy in any weather and the upper yard is fenced in.

Living room has a 46 inch satellite equipped TV with Netflix and Bluetooth sound bar.

Explore the Appalachian trails with an easy walk on its boardwalk or the intense hike up The Stairway to Heaven to Pinwheel Vista where the views overlooking Delaware Water Gap and High Point State Monument are stunning.
Stroll or bike the 1.4 mile loop around our lake and enjoy all it’s wildlife and beauty. Swim and fish off our private dock (bring your fishing pole).
Ice fishing or skate when lake is frozen !
Our private lake does not allow guests to use the beach but Waywayanda State Park and beach is open to the public. There is a gate entrance in the Barry Lake section of Vernon just 15 minutes from our location.

A short 20 minute drive to the artsy Village of Warwick NY for shopping, great food, live music on the green, billiards, Farmers Market and the famous annual Fall Applefest.

Each guest is required to clean up after themselves. Nothing dramatic just simple common sense; wash your dishes, wipe up your own messes when you cook or spill for example. Please be sure your guests understand these terms as well- the main booking guest will be reviewed based on their entire group.
The cleaning fee is minimal to ensure the place is sanitized for each new stay. Cleaning fee does not cover replacement of appliances, utensils , towels and linens or repainting. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Beautiful lake community. You have direct property access to dock and lake. Neighborhood is close (a quick 1 mile drive) to a few conveniences like local restaurant, liquor store, hardware, dollar general, library, deli and gas.

Peter and I have loved living on our small private lake for many years. It’s where we raised our family and remains our little labor of love.
I am a dancer, yogi, acrobat and enjoy healthy whole foods.
Peter is a fire alarm technician in NYC and die hard Steelers fan. When he is home his true passion is outdoor living and landscaping and you can often find him in the yard someplace mowing, planting or working on some outdoor project making new improvements for guests to enjoy. When not acting as resident groundskeeper he is likely making a fire in his outdoor man cave watching the game. Our Wheaten Terrier Molly, when outside, will welcome guests as they come and go and she simply adores kids.
We are proud parents to 3 adult children living on their own and love the rare occasions everyone is in the same state and we can all be together. We are also grandparents to one super smart and very handsome grandson.
