Located in Chinatown area. Easy access to restaurants...Train Station is 10-15 minutes depending how fast you walk. The place is a very quiet single room. Michelle was great!

What you see is exactly what you get, and then a little bit more: a small spotless room with everything you need and very pleasant hosts. The location is great: the subway is a couple of blocks away, Chinatown, the Williamsburg bridge and the East river are all within walking distance as well as cafés, bars, delis and even a supermarket. The street might be a little noisy for some people -certainly not for us- but the price/quality/location ratio more than makes up for it. Bagels, jam and butter were always there for us. And if you're lucky, you might get to taste Michelle's muffins.

If you aren't used to NYC, getting through the extrrior door and up to the apt is a little intimidating but walking into Michelle's place is like a portal to another world. A fully renovated, hip apt with window a.c. units and two kitty cats. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Michelle's appartment was clean and welcoming, the room was comfy (and there were even books about contemporary art as I had told her that I was coming to NYC to visit art fondations and galleries, such a sweet attention!) Truly the best neighborhood, closed to Nolita and Chinatown; many coffee shops, bars, restaurants and art galleries. Very close to public transportation as well. Communication with Michelle was easy, she was very helpful and flexible with the time for check-in/out.

Very nice place and cool neighborhood, near subway and nice restaurants. A bit noisy sometimes but hey, it's New York ! Michelle is a great person, always ready to listen to your questions and answer quickly. We would recommand it without a doubt.

Michelle's place was ideally located for our needs. 5 to 10 minute walk to subway, half hour walk to Brooklyn bridge, Times square bout 10 to 15 minutes on subway. Check in is super smooth n easy. Good communication as well even though Michelle was away during the start of our stay. Her partner and his son are both very easy going too and left us to do our own thing. There are 2 cats who are no bother but were poorly most days we were staying there. Also for the light sleepers it is a busy neighbourhood morning and night. Overall good value RnT

Michelle User ProfileMichelle is a superhost.

I've been living in New York City for 13 years, and happily call the Lower East Side my home. I love to travel and plan to keep at it for the rest of my life. While I'm writing my first novel, I work in a well-known restaurant in Manhattan. I moved to NY from Illinois to get my Master's degree from Columbia University. Exploring, cooking, reading... some of the things I love.
