A 65 sqm apartment sleeping 2/4, on the 2nd floor of a very well-kept building.
It's composed of: spacious living room with kitchenette, dining table, sofa-bed and 3 full-height windows with canal view; master bedroom with built-in wardrobe and desk; bathroom with shower.
Repainted in 2011, it has a stylish design, a perfect mix of modernity and Venetian elegance. The large windows makes it very sunny, and from the balcony you can enjoy a lovely canal view.
Equipment: TV, washing machine, oven, dishwasher, air conditioning, wi-fi (on demand).
Leonardo apartment is located in Sestiere Cannaregio, between Fondamente Nuove (boarding to the lagoon islands) and Santi Giovanni e Paolo church. A lovely Venetian corner, far from tourists' groups but nevertheless at 10 minutes' walk from Saint Mark's square and Rialto bridge. To visit in the area, the beautiful and unique Gesuiti church and Miracoli church. Nice groceries, shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood.
We had a great stay at this beautiful appartment. Barbara was always available and helpful each time we called her and Nicola welcomed us warmly and efficiently.
Location was great, in a more real neighborhood, quieter than the craziness of San Marco area. The appartment was very well equiped, super spacious, great light, we couldn´t ask for more! Thank you!
Lovely, stylish, clean and quite apartment. Its less touristy and feel like it the authentic side of Venice. We we're met from our taxi boat by Nico who works for Barbara, He showed us around the apartment and gave us tips of where to eat. We really enjoyed our three night stay and loved the fact we we're in a less touristy spot. The marble in the shower was great and we thought the design is more tasteful that the pictures express. Highly recommended! THANKS FOR HAVING US. Nick and Ruth
Great spot. The location is walking distance to the best places but out of the noisey tourist area. It was so nice to come " home" to Barbara's apt. At the end of the day
The view from the balconies is outstanding!
This is a business not a private flat , it is operated with great efficiency and organization but it also has the all the comforts of home
The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and dishes and even spices and oil, vinegar, tea etc
Washer and dryer is a nice touch when you are traveling for a long period of time
We were met at the Vaporetto and helped with our luggage, great service.
perfect. an amazing enviroment directly at the canal. very arty and stylish
If you want to get away from the shoulder-to-hip herd of tourists, live in a neighborhood in transition, and have a beautiful apartment - stay at the Leonardo. If you want to be closer to the tourist amenities and still have a lovely apartment, stay at the Ponti de Greci. Either place you will be delighted with your surroundings and the amenities.
The apartment is beautifully decorated, has excellent laundry facilities, and probably everything in the kitchen you will need for an extended stay. Truely, you can live as the Venetians do.
Equally as important: Barbara does everything she can to see that your stay is pleasant and any bumps are readily resolved. She has an excellent courrier and cleaning team to see that you are met, introduced to the apartment, and have a spotless place to enjoy.
Place your reservation with Barbara at LuxRest and the only preparation you need to do is to enjoy yourself.
Wonderful apartment, brigth and calm, great location, nice reception. We would rent it again tomorrow!!!
We stayed at Leonardo, great location 10-12 minutes walk from Rialto, or San Marco. Vaporetto stop nearby. Very easy to find even if you are first time in Venice. Nicholas was also helpful, showed us the apartment and explained everything.
This is a lovely apartment in Canaregio. It overlooks a working canal and it was fun to watch the barges come and go. It's VERY close to the Fondamente Nove and I think that as a result of the tide, the sound of water/waves was constant, which we both loved. It's actually not far at all to all the tourist spots and I much preferred staying in Canaregio than the more touristed parts of Venezia.
Ricardo oriented us to the area and was very helpful. There's a grocery store very nearby and of course the Fondamente Nove vaporetto stop. We also had to add a night on to our stay at the last minute and Barbara handled this with great aplomb (and thankfully the apartment was available).
I would definitely stay here again if I were to return to Venice!
Upon arriving in Venice we couldn't find the water taxi to the apt - however just note that it's past the bridge to the left. Upon finding the 4.2/5.2 we puchased our tickets and were at the apt in about 12 minutes. Upon arriving at the apartment (located in a nice historic building right off the waters edge) we were greated by Riccardo a nice boy who was very nice and pleasant. The apt is VERY NICE and VERY MODERN - I loved it, my Mom not so much she's more a traditionalist. The apartment has everything one could need a dish washer, washing machine, gas stove, refridgerator, tiny balcony, 1 full bedroom and a super sized sofa bed. Everything was very very clean the only complaint made by my mother is that the kitchen chairs seemed not to sturdy and you felt as though if you made one quick move they might snap. If the kichen chairs where updated then this place would be perfect!
great location, ten minute walk to Rialto and 5 min to airport vaporetto. designer space with all facilities.
