Sunny, clean, one bedroom, one bathroom apartment in Henderson Center area. Apartment is in my 1920, craftsman house, but is private with its own entrance. Comfortable queen sized bed. Full kitchen with refrigerator, hotplate, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, utensils, and cookware. I can provide a sleeping mat to accommodate one more person or a child. Will consider well behaved pets (extra $10 per night)...
My house is centrally located in a nice neighborhood with many period houses - Victorian through Craftsman era. Visit the redwoods, the ocean, Humboldt Bay. It's a great place to stay if you are passing through for a night, on a business trip, or staying for a week to explore the north coast. I grew up in the area and will gladly recommend places to visit and restaurants, or just answer questions you may have about the local area.

We stayed briefly for a night. Julie was helpful in her communication and it was easy to get into the unit. The place was clean and there were a couple of oranges for us to eat.
Property was on very high traffic street that we found intimidating for leaving our car parked there but neighborhood seemed safe and clean. The home was cute, clean and very comfortable. Good written instructions were left for us. We did not meet the owner but felt we could reach her if we needed to. We had a great stay and would use this property again. Stove and oven were not functioning but this was not an issue for us.
Very cute apartment with nice bedding and towels provided. Visitor guides and recommendations from the host made choosing what to do everyday easy. Convenient location, it was nice to come home to our own little place each night after a day of hiking. Kitchen was clean and coffee was provided; however, we were notified on arrival that the stove and oven were not working. Not a big deal, she had a microwave and hotplate, but it made cooking a little difficult. Would definitely stay here again.
A great home base for exploring the Redwood Forests and NorCal coastline. The apartment was comfortable but unfortunately the stove and oven were broken so we could not make much use of the kitchen. It is worth mentioning that the walls are very thin and easily permeated by noise.
What a great place! Everything was so easy and Julie was ao kind in leaving us a note of good things to do and good restaurants etc. The room and place was really clean and nicely done. Had a great time and would highly recommend it. Thanks Julie
Very cute house, I felt welcome, loved the way it was set up and private. Thank you for opening this room to us.
The apartment has a kitchen, sitting area, bedroom and full bath. Great for our night stay. Julie was flexible with our check-out giving us time to have breakfast and explore downtown. Would definitely stay here again.
Julie's place was perfect for our 1 night stay in Eureka. Quick 5 minute drive downtown and in a very quaint and cute neighborhood. She left a welcome note with a list of site seeing and food - much appreciated!
This is very cute, clean, quiet and comfortable one bedroom. It was conveniently located for getting around Eureka and the surrounding area. Julie was very helpful and responsive and provided recommendations for places to visit/eat etc. I would definitely stay here again.
It was comfortable and roomy. Easy street parking in a nice neighborhood.
The open closet in the bedroom made it easy to stow luggage out of the way.
Definitely a better option than staying in any of the hotels downtown.
