Danila's place is definitely interesting, fun, and has a lot of character. It's a relaxing and casual community space that was surprisingly clean given the eclectic decor.
One important thing to note is that it is absolutely not suitable to have 3 people sleeping in one room and DEFINITELY not worth paying the extra $40. We tried that, assuming the room would be large enough to accomodate us all... but barely had enough room to even open our suitcases.
I would definitely recommend staying in Danila's place if you have no more than 2 people and don't mind sharing a small space with others.
Danila is a wonderful person. She is very kind, warm, and friendly. Not only that, she has a great sense of humor. As you can see from the photos, her apartment has an interesting decor. The room I stayed in was large, comfortable, and clean. The Wi Fi works well and the air conditioning is nice and cool. It comes in handy on those hot Roman days. The location is superb. It is away from the touristy area, but only a short tram ride (#8) to the city center. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. I had wonderful stay and will return again.
I can't say enough good things about my stay at Danila's place. The location is perfect - it is outside the crazy tourist areas, but close and easy to get to them. The neighborhood is safe, clean and friendly. I was there for 2 months and never had any problems. If I were going to live in Rome, this is the area I would choose. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen and living rooms spaces are great and Danila is a sweet as they come. Thank you for an amazing adventure!
