The drive takes about 10 minutes, also by car (parking along the beach or at the entrance of the NP)
Closest airport is San Jose (SJO), with several options for transportation to Quepos:
SANSA AND NATURE AIR are the two local airlines, taking you to Quepos or back to San Jose, the flight is 25 minutes, the ticket cost $ 75.-/pax one way. Both airlines can be found in the web and tickets can be easy purchased online.

Super goede service. Erg vriendelijk. Kwamen ons ophalen in het dorp. Mooi knus boomhuisje, met fantastisch uitzicht en wasbeertjes op het balkon. Zeker een aanrader!!
Our stay was amazing. Thomas was a wonderful host. The tree house was incredible but the wildlife that came around made it even more special. It was an experience we will never forget.
The treehouse was magical. Thank you for helping make our first trip to Costa Rica so memorable!
The location within the natural beauty of the original rainforest is refreshing. It was very secure but at the same time very open. We so much enjoyed our visit to Manuel Antonio National Park and Henry & Felix (tour guides) did a beyond wonderful job; must have tour guide to learn about all the ins & outs of the animals, etc. We only ate out once but The Grand Escape, right off the main Street in Quepos had to die for red snapper; also the Mojito yum. Thanks Thomas.
The Tree House is paradise! A must if you're planning a trip to Costa Rica. All of the reviews are quite accurate, Thomas is a fantastic host. He picked us up from the airport and even booked our activities during our stay. The Tree House is the perfect place for those who want a relaxing vacation but want something more culturally accurate than an all inclusive resort. I certainly wasn't ready to leave when we did, it's truly an experience of a lifetime. I'll never forget the squirrel monkeys on the balcony, or the sloth who slept beside the Tree House for a full 18 hours! We saw more monkeys at the Tree House than any of our activities and adventures in Manuel Antonio.
We had s great trip to Quepos and the treehouse was just as described. Thomas couldn't have been nicer. The pool was a nice retreat during the summer heat. Our last night we finally had visitors which included the howler monkeys and s raccoon. If you are up for a memorable adventure you should put the treehouse on your list.
Upon arrival my host's were out of the country. Although they could not be there to welcome me they made sure that their assistant was readily available to answer any questions or help us book our excursions. The description and the pictures of the place were accurate, but you can not really appreciate its beauty unless you are actually there. The tree house exceeded all my expectations and the Host's and their staff were very kind.
The people who live and work in Quepos were all very nice. They were welcoming and many were interested in telling us some fun facts about the Costa Rican culture or about Costa Rica in general.
All the excursions which Angie helped us book were amazing. They were all well worth the time and money spent. My two favorite activities were riding the ATV's and Rafting.

About the Host, Thomas + Lili
Moved from Switzerland 16 years ago, just love it here! The people are "pura vida", life is so easy, the climate is very healthy! Very lucky to have purchased a big piece of property in the Playa Macha area, declared as green zone, where I offer the Tree House and Villa Malinche. It's almost like the National Park, lot's of wildlife and very peaceful, surrounded by lush rain forest!
My wife Lili is a licensed physic therapist, also with a great dedication for massage treatments, she can make you feel in heaven.... Don't miss an onsite treatment during your stay!
We are happy to share this relaxed jungle feeling on our property with the people we meet through Airbnb. Just lay back in the hammocks, taste the famous coffee and watch the monkeys fly by...
