Modern clean and spacious apartment close to a metro station. Well equipped kitchen. A number of restaurants nearby.
We had a wonderful stay at Moo's. A great apartment in a fantastic location for our group of 4 adults and a 10 month baby. The place was clean and in great shape. We found the apartment just as described and just like in the pictures. Moo even organized with a crib for our baby, which was very good. The Bastille area is really nice and convenient with Metros, restaurants, bistros and supermarkets just outside the apartment. We were able to do a late check-out since our flight departure late in the evening. Moo was very helpful so we didn’t have to carry around our luggage. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!
5 girls and I rented Moo's apartment for a week and we could not be happier. There is one spacious bathroom with a shower/tub and sink, unattached to any of the bedrooms, and then there are 2 very small bathrooms each attached to a bedroom, which have a shower and a sink (no toilets). The other bathroom next to the kitchen, has the one toilet and a sink. We were apprehensive about there only being one toilet, but it actually was never a problem, and strange as it may seem, since it was located near the kitchen, there is privacy. There is a nice dining table and chairs and a spacious kitchen. Our favorite room was the living area, since it has two French doors which open to a small balcony and the activity on the street. The apartment gets nice morning sunlight in the kitchen, which also has big windows which overlook a picturesque courtyard, and plenty of afternoon sunlight in the living area and one of the bedrooms. Even though it is a "smoking" aprtment we could not detect any scent of cigarettes at all. The apartment is on the fifth floor, but taking the stairs actually made us feel like we were walking off the copious amounts of cheese, bread and pasteries that we had consumed on a daily basis. The small elevator accomodated one person at a time with enough room for a big suitcase. The neighborhood was wonderful: a little supermarket directly across the street, a patisserie on the corner, a cafe across from the patisserie to grab a glass of a wine and a bite to eat while people watching. We were walking distance to the metro, cafes, ATM's, and other fun neighborhoods. Everything Moo advertises is true and he was great about communicating with us in an extremely efficient manner. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking to visit Paris; the price, the set up and the location are wonderful.
Excellent stay in an excellent location in Paris. The place was clean and in great shape. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Paris. We arrived early and were able to coordinate dropping off our luggage for the day. If I had to be picky, the showers are a bit cramped and there's only one toilet in the unit, however, that doesn't change my overall experience.
Sadly never got to meet Moo and had no need to contact him during our stay, but a very helpful young woman met us and showed us to the apartment. It is a lovely apartment in a quiet residential area, although there were plenty of eateries around and a great supermarket across the road, and a short walk from Bastille Square. Lots of space for a Paris apartment, including lots of mod cons. Good kitchen and seating, for those lovely breakfasts of fresh bread and croissants, fetched daily from a variety of local boulangeries. Although the two en-suite bathrooms are very small side, they are manageable, and there is a main bathroom back up. Would suggest leaving the doors to the en-suite in the red room open at all times, due to a very pungent smell emanating from there when doors have been shut. The only toilet in the apartment is tiny, and as a larger lady, I found this a bit of a struggle, but the others thought it was fine. The lift again is on the small side, but the stairs to the fifth floor aren't that bad. We were very happy with our stay and the wifi was a godsend to those of us who rely on our gadgets. Ledru Rollin metro was a short walk away and Bastille metro and Gare du Lyon station just a bit further. We even used our weekend travel tickets on the local buses a couple of times, as they stop within 100 metres of the building. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a great place to return to after a long day in Paris and the convenience of the metro.
