Excellent stay in an excellent location in Paris. The place was clean and in great shape. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Paris. We arrived early and were able to coordinate dropping off our luggage for the day. If I had to be picky, the showers are a bit cramped and there's only one toilet in the unit, however, that doesn't change my overall experience.
Sadly never got to meet Moo and had no need to contact him during our stay, but a very helpful young woman met us and showed us to the apartment. It is a lovely apartment in a quiet residential area, although there were plenty of eateries around and a great supermarket across the road, and a short walk from Bastille Square. Lots of space for a Paris apartment, including lots of mod cons. Good kitchen and seating, for those lovely breakfasts of fresh bread and croissants, fetched daily from a variety of local boulangeries. Although the two en-suite bathrooms are very small side, they are manageable, and there is a main bathroom back up. Would suggest leaving the doors to the en-suite in the red room open at all times, due to a very pungent smell emanating from there when doors have been shut. The only toilet in the apartment is tiny, and as a larger lady, I found this a bit of a struggle, but the others thought it was fine. The lift again is on the small side, but the stairs to the fifth floor aren't that bad. We were very happy with our stay and the wifi was a godsend to those of us who rely on our gadgets. Ledru Rollin metro was a short walk away and Bastille metro and Gare du Lyon station just a bit further. We even used our weekend travel tickets on the local buses a couple of times, as they stop within 100 metres of the building. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a great place to return to after a long day in Paris and the convenience of the metro.
A great apartment in a fantastic location for our party of 6 adults and a 2 year old. It is very clean and comfortable. The Bastille area is really convenient for the metro and all the main sights, with many restaurants, bistros and supermarkets with a couple of minutes walk. Mohammed was really helpful, allowing us a arrive early after a long flight from Australia and leave our bags and keep a key before our afternoon train to London. We hope to come back soon.
This is a good value apartment in a residential district away from 'tourist' Paris, but with a short walk to three metro stations with good connections to the main tourist sites. There is a small supermarket opposite, and two patisseries / boulangeries close by. We cannot recommend strongly enough the L'aubergeade restaurant, 0.8 km which is 35th on TripAdvisor's ranking of 13,000 Paris restaurants.
Two of the bedrooms have en-suite showers, which although small are more than adequate (although annoyingly no toileteries are provided). Guests should be aware there is only one toilet. The fixtures and fittings are high quality.
We did not meet Moo having been welcomed by the cleaner, but he was very helpful in arranging a taxi from Orly airport. Dealing through an intermediary though did lead to some confusion about meeting points, and guests are probably better arranging transport themselves (uber taxis are available in Paris).
easy and prompt communication. nicely located in the Bastille area. comfortable and clean. we were for work in Paris at theater de la Bastille and the location and apartment were just perfect!
