The location was wonderful. So much to do in the neighborhood. The hosts were great - very accommodating and left us very detailed instructions. The house was comfortable with only one complaint - cleanliness. The bathroom floors were covered in dust and dirt and kitchen/living area was completely occupied by fruit flies. I was hoping that with a hefty cleaning charge the main areas would be professionally cleaned and ready for guests.

Great hosts! They have a nice house that comfortably slept the four of us. The house is in a great neighborhood and is close to some fantastic restaurants. They were very responsive when we were there and checked in on us with a text.

Katherine and Mike's house is perfectly located in the heart of the Alberta Arts district. Amazing restaurants, bars, shops, etc. are right around the corner, and a quick ride or bike to downtown. The house itself is awesome and unique. Big, spacious kitchen to cook in, 2 comfortable queen size bedrooms, and a nice TV room tucked in the back for late night relaxation. They have some spair growlers to use for local beer, and a couple of bikes to explore the city on. The hosts themselves are incredibly responsive to every question and need - incredibly accomodating. Never at any point did we feel like we were intruding on someone's house. Short version: One of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had.

Had a wonderful time at Katherine and Mike's home. Their home is warm, welcoming, clean, and had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. The location is fantastic - shops, restaurants, bars, and grocery are all within a short walk. Katherine and Mike were extremely communicative and took the time to check in with us to make sure that we were OK. I would definitely stay here again!

The house was great and just as described. Great location close to restauraunts, grocery store and bars, yet suprinsingly quiet. Clean and well renovated. Katherine and Mike left easy to follow instructions and recommendations for Portland. They were also easy to communicate with in case of problems. Lots of space in the unfinished basement to store bikes we rented. Had a great stay!

We loved our stay here, when we walked in the door we were greeted with a beautiful floral arrangement, and to my delight I found the sweetest small flowers setting in every room! The bed was cozy and I so enjoyed the art on the walls. Wonderful creative living space, peaceful energy here...The location of this home was sooo perfect, info on restaurants was very helpful. Thank you for sharing your home.

Fantastic location! Close to the fun of Alberta, but just far enough off Alberta to avoid noise. Ideal for someone wanting easy access to some of the best food and shopping in PDX

We have lived in Portland over ten years and love this city! We enjoy bike riding, tasting our way around the city's restaurants and food carts, and the interesting people. Although admittedly a bit biased, Alberta Arts and NE Portland is the best place to be. It has a thriving and diverse community and is still only ten minutes to downtown. There is so much to walk and bike to from my home. We are happy to share our home with kind, thoughtful visitors interested in exploring Portland from our home base in a quintessential neighborhood. Our most recent travels were to Mexico City, Vancouver BC and Costa Rica. We also to explore Oregon through camping and day trips.
