Well it is safe and clean and everything is close at hand and I could not think of a better place to live or stay if I was a tourist or long term visitor
Taxi and buses are very cheap and even from the airport it only costs about $20 / (S/. 50 aprox.) to Miraflores but be careful because the taxi driver may say just 50 without explaining if it’s dollars or soles. Which could be a very expensive journey!!
Other things to note
Parking for a car is an additional $8 per day

Hi my name is Marc Stanley and I am British and I have 10 great rental apartments in Central Miraflores and have been renting them out for the last 8 years and when I started I was a young man and the time flies when you are having fun lol :)
I have never taken a security deposit or charged a cleaning fee and no hidden costs and I have worked like that from day 1 and 2800 days later still doing it my way and it works
I have been on this site for 10 days and please dont just dismiss me because I have only got one review because these things take time to build up and like my mother would say "Rome was not built in a day " plus most of my present reservations on my apartments are from returning clients built up from my own sterling efforts off the internet or " Word and Mouth " and I had heard about Airbnb via a British newspaper and thought it was a load of hype and the months drifted by until it became years and I noticed we had a few cancellations last week and thought I better give that Airbnb a try and see how that works and I am very happy with the results and
the people on here are my kind of people which really makes it enjoyable.
I like all food but not many Indian restaurants in Lima!!
Look forward to getting a email from you shortly !!
A good show in Lima is this "Brisas del Titicaca" located in the town centre and they have a website and it is a MUST SEE.
Very good fish restaurant across the road from us called " Punto Azul" but get in the place early at lunchtime because it fills up very quickly and is very reasonably priced and many of my clients say it is cheap
Visit those two places whilst in Lima and you will be made up
