For rent a part of my old house for anyone who is travelling or looking to stop for a while in a certain historic ambience. My house was built in 1754. It is hidden in a little village of the Garfagnana, Brucciano, amongst the peacefulness of the forests and mountains. It has been recently restored with every attention to detail, maintaining the original features. It is ideal for single travellers, a romantic couple, or small families

The space
The interior spaces of the house are large and extend over two floors. The bedrooms for guests are on the first floor and are reached by an old wooden staircase. One bedroom has a double bed and a small attached anteroom where it is possible to put a small children’s bed. For a family or a small group of friends a second room is available. It is a large room with two single beds, (on request it is possible to add a third bed). These rooms are connected and therefore ideal for a couple, for a family with children, or for a small group of friends, (up to 5 people).Each room is separated by a door, which can be locked.
On the first floor there is a bathroom with shower and the romantic loggia with open arches where it is possible to spend time in complete tranquillity.
On the ground floor there is a large dining room, the old kitchen with wood oven and loggia.
There is a small, garden where you can sit and rest in the sun or take care of flowers.

The house is situated in a part of the village not accessible by car. Visitors’ cars can be left in the Brucciano car park which is a short walk from the house. The house is in an ideal position for those who love tranquillity, the slow rhythm of life and nature, and for those who love silence.
For those who enjoy trekking, it is a point of departure for excursions of varying difficulty. In a few minutes by car it’s possible to reach walks of way which lead in to the heart of the Apuane Alps Regional Park, in particular to the Panie. It is possible to travel along many itineraries, also by bike, and discover small villages, explore the countryside and the beauty of sites of the Garfagnana valley.
