Interaction with Guests
Myself or a partner will drop off the keys to you upon arrival and you will be left alone for the remainder of your stay!
There is so much to love about this neighborhood. Cleveland's best restaurants are a stones throw away: XO Prime Steaks, Blue Point Grille (Seafood), Taza (Lebanese), Cleveland Chop, and about a dozen more. Nightlife akin to all preferences easily within walking distance.
There is a free trolley that runs every 10 minutes right outside the door. Taxis and services such as Uber make getting around very easy. If you do have a car, there are outdoor gated lots next to the building and around the corner priced from $5-$10 dollars a day. There is also street parking but depending on the time and day, there can be restrictions.
Other Things to Note
Parking: During the week you can park on the street after 4pm until 7am for FREE!. During the day you must pay a meter. On the weekends there is a nice gated lot around the corner that allows over night parking and it is $5-$10
Noise: Due to being located on a street with abundant nightlife, there is more noise than usual on Friday, Saturday and some Sunday nights between the hours of 10pm-2am.
Have as much fun as you can. Try to avoid permanent damages. NO SMOKING.
Lee's place was perfect for me while I was in town at a convention. the location worked out well, the walk to the convention center was only 5 minutes. The building felt very secure. Other members have mentioned a noise issue at night. My stay did not include Friday or Saturday night, so I cannot speak to that. But my last night did include a Cavs playoff game, and the noise from the street was noticeably louder. That being said, I choose to stay in a vibrant area. And when it is time to hit the hay, I always use a "white-noise" app on my phone. With the soothing sounds of my preferred "running stream" street noise was not an issue.
I was expecting two couches, and one of the ones in the picture was missing for some reason. Not a big deal as the one with a recliner was still there!
Lee has a great spot, in a killer (central) location, for a great price. We could walk to a number of destinations (museums, coffee shops, the Q, Progressive Field, etc). We used Uber to get to Tremont and Ohio City a number of times (for cheap). Lee's loft was quite comfortable. It does get a little noisy outside on the weekends, but turn on the fan and it will drown out the noise. We'd stay here again. Thanks Lee!
My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Lee's place! We had no issues locating the apartment or settling in! It was conveniently located in downtown Cleveland and there are so many good places to eat, so close to the apartment! It is also only a short walk to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Great Lakes Brewery. Lee was constantly in touch with us over text and was extremely helpful in answering any questions we had. I would definitely go back if I go to Cleveland again!
This was my second time using AirBnB and Lee made it incredibly easy and comfortable! He was very quick at responding to messages and any questions I had. His apartment was very clean, spacious, and had a nice homey feel (exactly as pictured on his post). It was like a cool bachelor pad -- I wish I lived there! I couldn't have asked for a better location too. It was very convenient for walking to local bars and restaurants downtown and literally a block drive to hop on the highway for traveling elsewhere in Cleveland. The only downside was paying for parking, which was expected when staying in any downtown city. I found great parking in a safe lot next door for $6/night or sometimes free street parking in front of the building after 4pm. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends/family looking for a reasonably priced place to stay in a fantastic location downtown! Thanks Lee!
Great place on the right block. Lee got me in and it looked like the pictures. Would rent again.
Fabulous place to stay! Loved that this was a loft in the Warehouse district of the city and that we were able to walk to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and most other attractions! It is a very cool loft. I never met Lee in person, but he was available to answer all of my questions over the phone immediately. The weather got a little rough while we were there and it was so fortunate to find that there was a FREE trolley stop directly across the street - most convenient! Also would like to share that "Liquids" across the street had great drink prices for happy hour, but better yet the food was off the hook - Wednesday night 12oz NY Strip with baked potato and a salad for $12.00! If we get back to Cleveland we will definitely stay here again.
