About the neighborhood
Vinohrady is a beautiful residential area of Prague that carries a reputation of prestige and elegance. It covers portions of Prague 2, 3, and 10. Most of its grand Neo-Renaissance, Art Nouveau, Pseudo Baroque, and Neo-Gothic buildings come from the second half of the 19th century and first half of the 20th century. Many have been and continue to be restored in an amazing array of color and architectural detail.

The stay at Elema's was a very convenient experience! It was clean and spacious! The contact with them was quick , easy and pleasant!
The only thing on the negative side was that the apartment was a bit cold, so also the floors. But bring slippers and you'll be fine :)!
I highly recommend staying at Elema's residence!
We stayed in no. 3 on the ground floor. It was noisy with roadworks by day and noisy late at night and in the early hours of the morning with people walking past from bars and restaurants. If you don't mind sleeping with the windows fully closed, this is less of a problem. The apartment is new and in a nice area. It is, however, let down by its furnishings, an inadequately equipped kitchen and a very uncomfortable mattress. We had to request a kettle, which was supplied after we asked for it. There was only one frypan and one very large stockpot to cook with. The curtains were too light and not very good quality and the very tired bedlinen needs to be replaced: it is not acceptable for a rental apartment. We had to ask for a cotton sheet as the toweling cover on the mattress was most unpleasant to sleep on and was itchy. The sheet and the towels we were provided with were also damp. This is not acceptable for a rental apartment. Parking is an issue if you have a car. The tram is a short walk from the apartment and it is quick and easy to get to the city. There are lots of restaurants and bars in the vicinity of the apartment. The internet is fast and reliable. Suzana, the manager, was quick to respond to our emails and to provide assistance.
Stayed at Elema house for a 7 night vacation in Prague. The location was really nice, a pretty street a short walk to city. It was clean, well equipped and looks like it was renovated recently. Comfy bed, good shower with plenty of hot water. We didn't have a kettle in the kitchen- when I emailed to ask for one, a staff member brought one to my room right away - thanks! Would stay here again.
Great location - close to subway, trams and within walking distance of Old Town. Definitely bring ear plugs as the street noise (from nearby pubs) can be a little much if you have the windows open.
Elema Residence is great and has everything you need.
The apartment is very big, clean and like new.
It'(email hidden) with lots of restaurants, coffes and super markets.
You can visit the main attractions by foot but there's also public transportations near the appartment.
It was a great experience and I recommend it to anyone visiting Prague.
We really enjoyed the apartment! It was everything we hoped for and was nicely located (easy walking distance) to everything. Our host was helpful and made sure all the details were taken care of. We want to come back again!
Would definitely recommend staying here! The room is clean, bright and spacious. Check in/out and all communication was easy, and the laundry service was very handy! Only a 20 or so minute walk to the old town square, with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Might I add that these places were much cheaper and better quality than the restaurants in the old town. Train station is just around the corner. Strong wifi signal. Very pleased with our stay here!
The apartments are very clean and spacious. I would totally recommend it to some one who wants to stay there long and also likes cooking. I was out most of the time and couldn't take advantage of the awesome and clean kitchen it has.
The bathroom was also very clean and as soon as I asked about repairing the clogged drain, the management sent some one and fixed it. They were very nice and professional. Also since I needed a second key, they provided that for me asap.
The location of this building is amazing. There are tons of cafes and restaurants in the area that I loved, and they were not touristy at all. You could have a much better quality of food and drinks and atmosphere in this district than in downtown. It was also not so far from downtown to walk to, if you wanted to do touristy things. The only problem in summer in Prague is that every where there's a construction and they even work on weekends. I slept very well, but if you are sensitive, there's a construction right in front of the building where they start drilling from 7.00 am. But as I said my overall experience was very good.
Also if you are doing airbnb to meet locals, this is not the place for you, because you wouldn't have any contact with the owners but if you like your privacy like I do, you'll enjoy it.
Our apartment's kitchen was well equipped, the bed room was spacious, the toilet was clean and the showering facilities were excellent. Together with its easy access by metro, nearby convenience stores and restaurants, we would strongly recommend anyone visiting Prague to stay with them.
