My husband and I can't say enough about the space or the host! The experience was fantastic. The room was very clean, and well appointed. The en-suite bathroom was likewise clean, with nice soft linens, and good amenities. Although the hot water was on demand, my husband and I didn't have any issues. Jim was an excellent host- met us on arrival, with tea and cookies for an afternoon break. Also- the breakfast! I have food allergies that Jim was able to accommodate. It was so yummy! For international travelers, I would recommend either GPS or a good road atlas. My international data plan was crap (didn't load, even with a Verizon plan, a new phone, and strong coverage). We had a good road atlas, but it didn't give the names/numbers for local small lanes like the lane to the B&B.
We counted kilometers and drove slow to keep an eye out for the street sign. When we go back to Ireland, we will definitely be back to Co. Donegal, and wouldn't stay anywhere else than with Jim.
Jim and Kevin were wonderful hosts (and cooks!) and we had a great stay at their unique and beautiful house. They were welcoming, accommodating, and respectful of our space. The location was perfect for us as we wanted access to hiking and outdoor activities. Dungloe is a nice little town and less than a 10 minute drive away. The house has an amazing view and is in such a peaceful location. We highly recommend this place!
Jim and Kevin were amazing hosts! They made us feel so welcome and the room was very clean and comfortable. They gave great recommendations for the area. Of course, I can't forget to mention Molly the dog. Overall wonderful experience, thanks so much!
This is a pretty remote are of the island, but Jim's directions were spot on. Everything was perfect - a beautiful room; amazing views of the sunset and sunrise; a big and friendly woofy dog; and a gigantic delicious breakfast.
Lovely house, lovely host, lovely countryside. The place is very clean and Jim and Kevin were so kind and helpful. Molly the dog is a cutie.
The place is quite rural, but it's perfect if you follow the Wild Atlantic Way. Breathtaking view and silence.
