The hosts were very flexible when it came to my arrival time - I got delayed by bad weather - and waited for me despite having plans. I was able to park in their driveway and potter about as I needed to. The house is beautiful and exactly as described. I really appreciated the private bathroom right next to the bedroom; the gazillion pillows and very generous blankets were just what I needed. Even though it was freezing outside the room was warm and comfortable, and private despite being an open loft. After a very long drive, I wasn't up for more driving or a huge meal, so I walked the 5 mins round the block to a bar/tavern where I had a lovely slice of pizza. For breakfast, I walked the same distance to a nice independent coffee shop. I didn't have much more time to explore but it struck me as a nice quiet neighbourhood that's close enough to town and, crucially for me, the highway.
The house was charming, and they were good hosts. The loft room was pleasant and clean with a private 1/2 bath. Recommended!
Amy was a very kind hostess. Beautiful home, incredibly comfortable bed! This is a great location with quick access to some of Cleveland's most fun restaurants. Highly recommend it.
Amy and Brian were very good hosts and friendly easy going folks. Easy to book and have ongoing contact with up to our stay. Their house is really lovely - a great renovation of a 1860's cottage! The room is a loft, so you mght hear some noise from below, depending on what's going on and time of day. It does have its own 1/2 bath which was great. The area is "up and coming" and very close to lots of great dining and evening entertainment. Brian recommended Platform Brewery just a few blocks away which was fun. And just a few further from that was Momocha, a great upscale Mexican restaurant. Thanks for a nice night!
Amy and Brian were delightful and attentive and there home is near as a pin. The neighborhood is hip and upcoming and we ate at a cool restaurant that had great dogs and live music.
I love traveling! Since travelling abroad in college I have always had a (long) list of dream vacations.
I live in Cleveland, OH with my husband and our two wonderful dogs. We love going on road trips, staying in apartments or houses, and really getting the local experience. We both really enjoy spending time outside, and try to incorporate hikes and bike rides into all our trips. Other than that, a highlight of trips is always the food!!
My favorite places I've been are: Boulder, anywhere with a beach, Oaxaca, and Argentina. Up next on my dream list is a roadtrip down the California coast and a week (or two!) in Croatia!
