A stunning log cabin that is a cosy, romantic hideaway.Daisy is a unique design built by a local craftsman to provide a luxurious hideyhole from the stresses of modern life.Relax, reconnect, unwind. Alone, together.

Set in an orchard with a high degree of privacy, float away on the hammock, watch the flames in your fire pit,or wander around the land meeting the animals and exploring the space.

Take a seat in the giant chairs, listen to the fountain in the pond, star gaze from the double hammock.

The space
4 acres of orchard, woodland and meadow, Yonder Meadow has lots of different spaces for you to explore, from the bench built around the oak, to the pond teeming with wildlife, the giants chairs, and the edible hedge!

You have your own space, hot tub and fire pit and there is also a communal fire pit if you’d prefer to use that.

Why not use the pizza oven and toast marshmallows over the fire? We also have a telescope for stargazing. Our skies are very dark.

Uniquely situated in the countryside yet just 10 minutes from the centre of Exeter with its hustle and bustle, great selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

But why not wander through the lanes to one of the local pubs? Great food, local beer or cider and a warm welcome.

We also offer bike or tandem hire, and Daisy has a map of local cycle routes, and plenty of country walks. We are lucky to have the 2019 Home Cook of the Year nearby who can make you a meal for your return, or a picnic hamper of local goodies to take with you, or a breakfast basket.

Winner of the 2017 Muddy Stilettos Best Glamping in Devon award.

Guest access
Treat the land as your own. Wander. Explore the different areas. Have a glass of wine by the pond.

Other things to note
Free range chickens, horses, dogs and cats. You may also spot bats, a fox, badgers, woodpeckers and a polecat!

Country lanes, riverside walks, cosy pubs and great food. The famous Agricultural Inn is perfect if you like a reasonable walk for amazing food (spam fritters are delicious - who knew?!), and the Stoke Canon Inn is very nearby to us with great pub grub and a friendly welcome.

Killerton House is nearby, a National Trust property in walking distance. It has a great Parkrun, lots of events and exhibitions and beautiful grounds. And of course a cafe.

The Exe Valley Farm shop stocks locally produced wine, and a wide selection of other Devonshire goodies.

For basics we have a Spar in walking distance, but for big shops we are just 10 minutes from the beautiful city of Exeter with its many attractions.

Exmouth Beach and Dartmoor are both just half an hour away and make wonderful day trips.

All this, and yet we are really easy to get to.

Busy Parents of 3 girls plus a dog, a cat, 6 chickens and 3 ponies. I would describe our lives as comfortably chaotic, and a laid back approach is essential.
