We had a lovely time staying there, the whole place was very tidy and Dan took care of every bit of details, the guide book he made was extremely useful. Definitely staying there on my next visit.
Daniel was very helpful and welcoming. The apartment was exactly as described and the location was perfect for me (I was attending a conference in Gangnam). I enjoyed my stay there and totally recommend it.
It was my first time to Korea. Daniel's directions were perfect, and it was an easy walk from the metro. The room was great, with everything you might need (from toiletries to snacks). While I didn't end up really using the kitchenette, it included everything you'd want if you decided to cook. All-in-all was a great home away from home for my week in Seoul.
My friend and I came to Korea to travel and enjoy the nightlife in Korea. We did have many concerns while staying in this foreign country, but because of Daniel and this Yeoksam Studio that he's renting out we didn't have to worry about our living situation at all. Daniel explained the location of the studio and how to get there clearly in the studio's profile page (it's really easy to find even for us foreigners; the studio is close to Yeoksam station, one stop away from Gangnam station). A few days before arrival, he messaged us the door code and wifi password; we got into the studio and was able to use wifi without any trouble. There was a guide-book for the tenant on the desk and it gave us a how-to guide for using the things in the studio and for going to places. The studio comes with a bathroom and a kitchen, and it is equipped with A/C, washing machine and a computer screen. It had everything we needed during our stay and Daniel even provided us with free cup noodles and crackers (love the crackers, btw). On the weekend, Daniel showed us around Gangnam when he had some free time; he is a very friendly person and we became friends quickly. My friend and I had a wonderful time in Korea, and Yeoksam Studio made our trip even better. If I am to go to Seoul again in the future, I would definitely want to live in Yeoksam studio again for its quality, location and price.
The room was very tidy, clean, and well kept. In my opinion, better than what was shown in the pictures. Daniel was also helpful, and despite being out of town on vacation with family sent emails to me to check up on me during my stay and make sure everything was good.
The place is just like the picture. It's just nice for 2. Would be good to open the windows to air it a bit (my friend didn't want to and it felt kind of stuffy for me). If you are there for plastic surgery, the tv can keep u occupied.
This place has hair dryer, water boiler, aircon, laundry machine and microwave. There is a stove but i couldn't find a pot or pan (and didn't ask) so i didn't do any cooking.
Don't throw tissue paper in the toilet bowl, my friend did that and it choked. We didn't want to bother the host so we cleared it with a plastic bag (made sure it didn't leak first)
Don't spray water towards the door while bathing as there's a gap between the door and the fitting so the water would leak into the room (found out after my friend did it the first day)
For hot water, turn it to the hottest (left) and let it run and it'll eventually become hot.
In conclusion, the place was clean and comfortable. Overall i liked it. The host was kind and helpful. It was too bad we couldn't co-ordinate a time to hang out, hopefully we'll have the chance in future. It was my pleasure to stay there and the price was well worth it. =)
The accommodation is very comfortable and very clean. It is somewhere I felt at home immediately. I would have extended my stay but couldn't as it was booked.
Yeoksam station is a short walk away while the bus stop 5 minutes away served my need.
With more than a few 24 hours restaurants nearby, you never need to worry about food.
Daniel is a gracious host and if I do come back to Seoull again, I will definitely try to book this place.
