Great location
92% of recent guests who stayed nearby gave the location a 5-star rating.
Large, high-ceiling Queen room in historic home situated perfectly between the WKU campus and downtown Bowling Green. This room is located on the first floor. Keep cool with central air in the summer and warm in the winter with central heat. There is also a quiet ceiling fan if you like a breeze.

The space
This room is located on the first floor and features a queen bed with hotel-quality mattress. The room used to be the front parlor of the house so it is huge! Large front window and generous over-bed windows provide lots of natural light.

Guest access
As a guest, you'll have access to the bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom. There is also a generous front porch and back porch with outside dining area and large fenced in backyard.

Other things to note
Because this is a solid-brick (all the interior walls too!) historic home built pre-indoor plumbing, the bathrooms and kitchens are on the back-side of the house in the addition. Guests will have to walk through the livingroom and dining room to access this area of the house.

Bowling Green, Kentucky, United States

The neighborhood is very safe and the house is mostly surrounded by WKU housing and apartments. From the house, walk to the left from the front door and you will be in the heart of downtown Bowling Green in less than 5 minutes-- turn right and you can be on the WKU campus in less than 5 minutes.

Avoid the Hill--L.T. Smith Stadium and E.A. Diddle Arena are just a flat walk away-- 1/2 mile.

Hello! My name is Julia, I'm originally from Sarasota, Florida, attended college in Bowling Green, Kentucky (Go Tops!), and now live in Bar Harbor, Maine. Staying in Airbnbs is my favorite way to travel because I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. I also love hosting and am an Airbnb co-host here in Maine at the farmhouse I share with my partner, Adam. I also Airbnb a room in a home I own with my father in Bowling Green, Kentucky with our good friend Taylor as an on-site co-host. I love photography and am lucky to work as a full-time digital communicator producing photos and videos for a non-profit here in Maine. I also own a photography business and mainly take family portraits and wedding photos. Some of my favorite activities are hiking, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, and relaxing in the sun on the beach. I'm a quiet guest and host and respect people's space and privacy, but also love a good conversation when the time is right. Fun fact about me: I paddled the Mississippi River from Cairo, Illinois to New Orleans, Louisiana as part of a National Geographic Young Explorers Project. My friend Brett and I did the paddle together and it took us 1.5 months. It was my favorite trip to-date.
