I have 3 lovely rooms available at Lissadell B&B (see my other listings)
Lissadell B&B room No. 2 is a lovely double room with shower ensuite.
Each room is ensuite with tea/coffee making facilities, TV and use of fridge, micro-wave. There is off street parking.
We are centrally situated beside main bus route; close to shops, restaurant, traditional pub, golf courses, leisure centre and 5 mins walk to town centre. Beautiful beach and walks on our doorstep.
Buncrana has a vibrant music scene with a host of local pubs or bars having live music most nights of the week. The Drift Inn traditional pub and restaurant is situated just opposite our house - it offers great reasonably priced bar food in a unique setting. The Beach House award winning restaurant is within 5 mins walk - check out (website hidden).
Buncrana is situated on the west of the very scenic Inishowen Peninsula, in County Donegal, with spectacular panoramic views of Lough Swilly. The name Buncrana, (or Bun Cranncha in Irish), translates to the bottom of the Crana , the river adjacent to the town.
A warm welcome awaits any guest and we can give plenty of local information.
key is provided so guests can come and go as they please.
No smoking allowed in bedrooms or dining room.
Otherwise just enjoy your stay.
We had a great experience here. The rooms are VERY tidy and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and included the typical Irish breakfast items (eggs, sausages, etc) as well as more continental items. We would recommend booking directly with the B&B in order to avoid AIRBNB's fees.
Garry and Marie were fabulous, attentive hosts. They were very helpful in all of my needs and and my room was well appointed as was the breakfast room. They made me feel quite at home during my stay in this beautiful area. I'll be back!
We enjoyed our short stay with Marie & Garry. Marie was very helpful & the room was comfortable and well appointed (although a little cool in the unseasonally cold weather). Lissadell B&B is centrally located and we took some beautiful photos of Lough Swilly on our morning walk. Breakfast was wonderful. We followed Marie and Garry's tourist advice and enjoyed the suggested stops on our trip to Gallway. Thank you Marie & Garry
Our visit was excellent. Our hosts were very helpful and warm and welcoming. The room was perfect and the shower was especially perfect for weary travellers. Location was great. Overall it was the perfect stop for us. Thanks

Hi my name is Marie and I manage this B&B along with my husband Garry. We both enjoy meeting people, especially from abroad and telling them about our locality - its wonderful scenery, places of historic or cultural interest nearby and anything they wish to know about the area and its history (as much as we know).
