The space

Hi! Check out our beautiful studio apartment in Prenzlauer Berg. As it's situated in a building which is more than 100 years old, you can enjoy the typical "altbau" ceiling - which is more than 3.5 meters high. Facing the courtyard, it's very quiet.

Of course, bed linen and towels are provided for you during your stay with us.

To give you an idea of the area, there are lots of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets and Berlin Boutiques. We're happy to give you a few recommendations if you'd like some local tips!

You can also check out some famous tourist attractions and sights in the immediate area: Kulturbrauerei, The Wasserturm, Prater, Mauerpark, Kollwitzplatz, Helmholzplatz and Kastanienallee.

If you want to get into the heart of Mitte, a 20 minute walk will get you there where you can check out the center of old East Berlin. This area has many brand name and design stores around.

Public transportation in Berlin has a great reputation, and the apartment is located 3 minutes by foot from Schönhauser Allee station. From there you connect easily with the U(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) trains and the M1 tram. 8 minutes later you can find yourself in Alexanderplatz or it's 11 minutes to Hackescher Markt. You can also easily get to Potsdamerplatz, Kudamm, Messe Nord/ICC or pretty much anywhere in the city you want to go. The connections are great.

If you're flying into Berlin, you'll find it easy to get here from both Berlin airports. It's approximately 38 mins from Schönefeld (direct) or 21 mins from Tegel Airport (with 1 change).

Look forward to hearing from you if you'd like to stay at our place!

The apartment is just like the pictures show. Dan communicated with me easily and the check in went smoothly. I never actually met Dan, but his friend who helped at check in was very friendly and showed us everything! The location is awesome. Being close to Eberswalder Str. and in P'berg is just where we wanted to be! Lots of shops, restaurants, and very well connected being just a minute walk from Schönhäuser Allee. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay! Would highly recommend for anyone wanted to visit Berlin.

Dan arranged for us to meet with a friend, who gave us the keys and walked us through a map and gave highlights of the area. We were able to reach everything via public transport, which was just around the corner.

I stayed here with my husband for 4 nights and 5 days during the Christmas holiday. The apartment was the perfect size for us and had more than what we needed. The kitchen was great, although we didn't use it other than for the mini fridge. The hallway was nice because we could look in the full-length mirror when leaving and we could hang up our coats when returning. It was great to have a closet in the room. We loved the large windows and appreciated the lamps and other lighting in the apartment. It was clean and matched the photos. The bathroom even had a small hair dryer in it, which was a nice comfort to have while traveling. Also, there were brochures about Berlin attractions and even a Lonely Planet guidebook for Europe available in the apartment. The location was close to the metro and had quite a few cafes and restaurants nearby. We found it greatly convenient that there was a small shop a few doors down that seemed to be open pretty early and pretty late. They sold water, beer, and snacks, which came in handy for us since many other grocery stores were closed when we arrived later in the evening. Adi met us at check in and was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this listing!

I never actually met Dan or his wife, we were let in by a friend. The apartment was comfortable, right outside the city and it was clean. I would recommend staying here.

The apartment was just about exactly as described. The main room is nice and big overlooking a courtyard, so it was quiet and great for sleeping. Transportation to other parts of the city is easy on the S-Bahn or U-Bahn, and there is a lot of good walking-around in the vicinity of the apartment. Pros: Fast Wi-Fi Comfortable bed Quiet at night Pretty good shower Cons: More towels please Host was not super-communicative

Dan and Adi's apartment is awesome. It looks just like it does in the pictures. It's spacious, very clean and has everything one would need for a short or extended stay in Berlin. We had no problem connecting to the Wi-Fi, the bed was really comfortable and temperature can be controlled. The apartment faces a courtyard so it was very quiet and we couldn't hear the neighbors at all. The apartment is so conveniently located near the Schönehauser Allee U+S bahn where you can take the S9 directly to/from Schönefeld airport or the U2 to check out all the sights. Also, there is a supermarket down the street and a few mini markets right on the street which we found very convenient. There are lots of restaurants nearby too. Adi was so nice and helpful and checking in and out was very easy. I would absolutely stay here again when I'm back in Berlin.
