A Big Bedroom in NYC, South Harlem -- 2 blocks north of Central Park. Near Columbia University! Close to 2/3/B/C, (you can be in midtown in 15 mins), very close to grocery store, new restaurants and shops. There is a washer/dryer in the apartment!!! There is also a piano, a projector for movie watching, large livingroom/kitchen shared space. It's a great place to live but work is taking me out of town. You'll have your own large room (with a closet, bed and desk) and share the rest of the apartment with my husband who's a great roommate and and easy-going guy, oh, and two adorable dogs, that love people - a French Bulldog and Westie. Pictures coming soon!
In case you don't know much about Central Park:
"Central Park is a public park in the center of Manhattan in New York City, United States. The park initially opened in 1857, on 843 acres (3.41 km2) of city-owned land. In 1858, Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux won a design competition to improve and expand the park with a plan they entitled the Greensward Plan. Construction began the same year and was completed in 1873.
Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1963, the park is currently managed by the Central Park Conservancy under contract with the city government. The Conservancy is a nonprofit organization that contributes 85% of Central Park's $37.4 million dollar annual budget, and employs 80% of the park's maintenance staff." -wikipedia
