Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Belmont Plantation is in the Mississippi Delta & the central to the Blues Trail. You’ll love my place because of the history, ambiance, vintage charm, and peace & quiet. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets). Your stay includes a full breakfast at the Plantation big house, only steps away!

The space
Welcome to Belmont Plantation, Est 1857 in the heart of the Mississippi Delta! The mansion consists of 9000 sq ft, 8 bedrooms, and 7 baths- we offer each room for rent individually including the Panther Burn Cabin.

The cabin is heated and cooled with its own mini-split system that keeps it perfectly comfortable year round and is fully controlled by you, our guest. Inside you will find exquisite antique furnishings, soft linens, and a brand new bathroom with complimentary soap & shampoo. You will also be provided with bottled water, fresh towels, turn down service, and wifi. And the cabin is the only suite on the property with its own TV- a new LCD smart TV with basic channels, Netflix, and on-demand channels like HBO, internet radio, and a variety of premium streaming channels including news, lifestyle, and sports networks.

This particular structure, the Panther Burn Cabin, is an 1830s slave cabin from the extant Panther Burn Plantation to the south of Belmont. It has also been used as a tenant sharecroppers cabin and a medical office for local farmers and their families to visit the plantation doctor. It was moved to Belmont in 2017 and meticulously restored over the course of a year. All of the wide cypress boards are original to the first build in the 1830s while the 1850s beadboard in the bathroom is from a later remodel which included new windows and new doors with their fancy hinges, likely from the dismantling of the big house on the property.

The is the last surviving structure from the fabled Panther Burn Plantation...
