Condé Nast Traveler lists La Perla as one of The Best Airbnbs in Maine!

Named by Domino Magazine as "The Perfect Airbnb" for Ogunquit on a budget!

La Perla is a cozy, one bedroom, cottage (500 sq. feet) overlooking the Ogunquit River; it was completely renovated in 2017. La Perla is about 1.7 miles from downtown Ogunquit and 1 mile to Footbridge Beach, and a handful of restaurants are located at the end of the street (Angelinas, Beachfire Grill, Pizza Napoli and Liquid Dreams). Come and see!

The space
While at LaPerla it is impossible not to appreciate the beauty of the natural surroundings, the intimacy of the small spaces, and our attention to detail. This tiny home makes a big impression.

(The cottage is on a very steep incline above the river, so while it has a beautiful view for adults, it's probably not suitable for small children.)

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire property. We hope to renovate the garage as additional living space in 2019-2020 in addition to continuing our landscaping efforts. Until then, those areas are storage space, not intended for guest access.

There are two bikes and a bike lock available for guests to use. We highly recommend using them if you’re headed to the beach for the day, car parking can be difficult to find.

Other things to note
WATER & SEPTIC: The cottage utilizes both a well and septic holding systems. Please DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. If it is found that improper items have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages. The well-water has been tested and is suitable for drinking. We have opted for high efficiency appliances and plumbing in an effort to be eco-conscious and conserve water. We ask that you are mindful of this as well.

* Due to this property's unique location so close to the river, all waste water from the house (i.e. sinks, toilets, and showers) is collected in an underground storage tank. The septic storage tank will need to be periodically serviced. If the septic alarm goes off, (located in the garage) please contact the property owners so that the septic system can be serviced.
