Wooster Square is quite simply the best neighborhood in New Haven! Known as New Haven's "Little Italy," Wooster Square features some of the best pizza in the US. During the summer, there is a farmer's market just up the street.
Easy access to shops, theaters, and more! Walk to Yale and Downtown New Haven in mere minutes. Train stations with service to New York and Boston are also within walking distance. A public bus stop and a Yale Shuttle stop are located within half a block.
Other Things to Note
The place is spacious for 1 person and comfortable for 2. Keep in mind that you shouldn't mind hearing each other (open-beam construction = no interior ceilings, except for over bathroom).
Please remove shoes, especially high heels! The antique wood floor is very soft
No smoking inside; outside is okay as long as you clean up after yourself.
No pets, please.
Treat neighbors with respect; they are all wonderful people.
Leave the place tidy. Housekeeping does not do dishes, so please be sure they're clean.
Wooster Square park, just up the street. Cherry and dogwood trees bloom in spring; the fall brings beautiful leaves; and in the winter the snow is lovely.
