The space
Enjoy the beauty of the countryside while only a short drive to all that Asheville offers. The Cottage At Green Heron Pond sits on the Farm at Green Heron Pond, with its 50 acres of serene pasture land, wooded areas , one acre pond, and panoramic mountain views. A large covered porch is a perfect spot for enjoying your morning coffee or evening beverage and enjoying views of the mountains and pond. Birdsongs in the morning and frogs at night are often the only sounds heard in this private, secluded property. On clear nights, guests enjoy unobstructed views of the moon and stars against the dark country sky. The spring-fed one-acre pond is a short walk from the cottage; catch and release fishing is allowed. Walking paths throughout the property allow guests to explore the woods and meadows. If you enjoy lawn games, a nearby 7000 square foot lawn is home to Bocci Ball and Corn-Hole. The 1500 square foot pavilion with vaulted ceilings and string lighting offers another site for enjoying the views or having a meal.

The cottage was custom built in 2018 and is designed for comfort. It features:

The Cottage at Green Heron Pond is situated on fifty acres of rolling pastures and woods with mountain views, but just 20 minutes away from downtown Asheville and even closer to the hip West Asheville shopping district. If you feel like exploring some of the surrounding mountain towns we are just short drives to Waynesville, Brevard and Black Mountain (30-45 minutes).
