Oakhurst House is perfect, exactly what we were looking for...short walk into the two and the house its self is wonderful....Eileen couldn't be nicer and gave perfect directions when we got lost :)
Eileen has been great to work with. I accidentally booked the wrong date and she was so accommodating in switching the reservation. I haven actually stayed in the place yet but i am expecting great things. So far, i would 100% recommend staying with Eileen.
Eileen was great, very welcoming and friendly. The room and bathroom were very clean, the bed was comfy, and my room had a wonderful water view. Breakfast was delicious. Eileen even offered to drive me to the airport for half the price of a taxi. I had a short, but enjoyable time in Cobh. Thanks, Eileen!
This was another place on our trip that we wish we could have stayed longer. Eileen is a wonderful host, and you can tell she takes a lot of pride in her home, and enjoys having guests and introducing them to Cobh. The house is very impressive, and Eileen really makes it wonderful. You can't ask for more. The view from our room was breathtaking. Eileen made breakfast in the morning, which was wonderful, and she encouraged us to check out the Roaring Donkey pub, which was a huge highlight of our trip. Thanks Eileen!
Eileen was such a motherly host. Her house is welcoming and beautiful. Breakfast was delicious! If you need advice about Cobh, she will point you in the right direction. I am definitely going to come back and stay longer!
Had a wonderful stay at the Oakhurst B&B! The building is wonderful and in a lovely spot in Cobh. The room itself was large, clean and very tastefully decorated. Eileen was a fantastic host - extremely knowledgeable about the area and more than willing to provide tips and information for local sightseeing. She also prepared a lovely breakfast. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to all.
Our experience in Eileen’s place just perfect …
Eilleen is a lovely host with graceful manners, the way she treated us made us feel like part of her family – she had our best interest at heart to make sure we saw the best parts of the country without messing around driving.
Her place is stunning, elegant with a lot of big windows, so if you are lucky enough like us to find a sunny day the house lightens up.
Our room was bigger that we could expect furnished with great taste with an exceptional view.
Breakfast included had everything you could want served in a marvellous dining room that made you go back in time.
