  • Very lovely place. Didn't have a chance to meet Garry but his lovely mother, Laura.
This place is close to everything in the city centre.
Laura was really helpful and told me where to go and what to do.
Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Would definitely stay again!

  • Garry and Laura were perfect hosts, very welcoming, caring and helpful. The location was excellent and directions easy to follow. The guesthouse is only minutes from everything. The single rooms were small but very clean and each room had a TV and tea making facitlies. My friend and I did not arrive until quite late and were welcomed with tea and biscuits. We had a very comfortable stay and would recommend Ardgarry for your stay in Inverness.

  • Un hôte charmant. Très attentif envers ses clients. D'une accessibilité permanente. Nous avons vraiment passé 3 jours très agréable chez Garry.

  • We arrived late from Ft. William and Garry offered to give us a lift from the bus station; we had just finished hiking the West Highland Way and were very tired, so we were very grateful! The room was perfect for a night's rest and breakfast hit the spot. Garry really went above and beyond in helping us, from holding our luggage while we travelled to Orkney, and helping us with myriad other errands. The hospitality can't be beat, and we felt we were guests in someone's home, not just travellers passing through. The location is perfect for those traveling by bus, a block or so away from the bridge and within walking distance of a Tesco. We really look forward to our next stay in Inverness.

  • We stayed at Ardgarry for 5 nights in early July 2013. We had some minor problems with noisy other guests on the first night but otherwise found the place to be very clean, comfortable and convenient - and the breakfasts are FABULOUS. Garry and his Mum, Laura, are excellent hosts and we really enjoyed chatting with them and with other guests. Garry's suggestions about eateries and places to see were spot-on. Garry also communicated well with us and helped us both before and after our visit, which we found to be exceptionally considerate. We found Inverness to be very friendly and accommodating place all round. If you want to splash out on a special treat , we'd recommend the Rocpool Restaurant. It's easy walking distance from Ardgarry - about a block away and on the same side of the River - and some really delicious, creative cooking.

  • Thanks for a great comfortable stay and organising alternative accomodation for Sue. Also the pick up from the station and advice about local restaurants and walks. The best breakfast we had in our 4 week trip around UK and Europe was at Ardgarry. Delicious. Australian bacon can never compare!

The bathroom was really nice. The whole house had such a good atmosphere. Gary and his mother every morning cooked a delicious breakfast, that's so nice.
