We rent 2 bedrooms in our apartment, 2 min walking from the Duomo! There are 2 bathrooms and an equipped kitchen! You can just relax and chill in your room or spend some time in the living-room with us or with the other guests! :)
Hallo!! I'm Bred, I'm 30 and I'm italian! I live in Piazza san Lorenzo, the leather market's square, 1 min walking from the Duomo!
I live in a building which is from the 1400
I have an apartment with 1 large living room that you can use to hang out and chill, I have a loft (that's my room) and I have 2 bedrooms to rent out! There are 2 toilettes in the apartment, so I'm gonna try to make you feel that you have your own toilette.
and of course i can make you a coffee in the morning, but you can also use the kitchen to make breakfast or dinner and the fridge to keep your food and drinks!
I rennovated the apartment in 2009.
There are many restaurants in this area that I can recommend, especially typical florentine restaurants!
Of course there's no curfew.
It's not far from the station, (website hidden) Maps says it's 8 minutes walking, and the best way to get here is to walk, cause I live in the city center!
Parking the car is not the easiest thing in Florence, very close to my place you can find a private parking places for 20 euros per night (which is a good deal here). But remember it's free if you park in the streets (in the blu lines) between 20.00 til 8.00 and on sundays it's free all day.
You are welcome!
If you are interested, we could organize a Chianti wine tour for you!! :)
Kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, Living-room, TV.
Interaction with Guests
We usually like to drink a beer or a glass of wine with our guests!
In summer, if we can, we'd love to show you some of the best naturist beaches of Tuscany! :)
You can visit the famous leather market in Florence and find a nice jacket or a bag! You can visit San Lorenzo Church! You can visit the Mercato Centrale, to try or to buy some local food!
San Lorenzo is a pedestrian area, but in only 8 minutes you can reach Santa Maria Novella, and from there you can take a bus to go to Piazzale Michelangelo or to go to Fiesole.
Please don't smoke inside the apartment.
Check out at 11.00 (but if I have no guests the day after, you can sleep more)
This is a very nice and quiet place in a great location! The room is a bit small for two large beds (we were three adults) but the ceiling height makes up for that, and anyhow, who wants to spend time inside when there's Florence to explore!
What a wonderful stay in Florence! Nadja and Bred were so great, even though I never got to meet them in person all of my interactions with them on Air B&B were superb. Bred's mother, Maria, helped us get checked in and showed us around the apartment and she was very sweet. Bred and Nadja responded quickly to all my questions, offered recommendations, let us leave our bags in the living room after we checked out, etc etc. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and the location was really fantastic. Only a couple min walk from the Duomo! I highly recommend this apartment and this host couple. I hope to return to Firenze again soon and if I do I will definitely stay here again.
It was a pleasing experience to stay at this place. The hosts weren't there because of their travel but a nice lady were welcoming me and my girlfriend and provided a good service throughout. The interior of the place was quite unique and we enjoyed it. Overall it was worth it.
Despite being short, we enjoyed a lot our stay! The location is very central and convenient, the flat is creative and brings a lot of positive mood. :) We had everything needed to feel comfortable and at home :) Thank you once again and all the best!
Breditz and Nadja were fantastic! They were so lovely and warm welcoming us into their apartment. The location of their place is exactly where they said it was - we were incredibly central to everything. The apartment is really cool; the decorating they've done makes it wonderfully fun and "homey". We did a little cooking at home, admittedly we did eat out a lot (couldn't get enough of the local cuisine), but it definitely suited us. The four of us happily slept in the one room (it was actually more spacious than it looked in the photograph, so that was a perk!). Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get a real experience of Florence.
Oh, man. These guys were fantastic! We drove from Sicily and they stayed up to greet us and make us feel welcome, even though we were two hours late! The room was even much bigger than it appears in the photo. The bed was big enough for my husband, myself, and our newborn to fit with plenty of space. The house was clean with a funky new-age vibe for such an old building! The setup was very cool, too. Also, it is RIGHT downtown. I mean, you can walk to Michelangelo Piazza and to the actual statue, the Duomo, all of it. Right there. The tour buses (if you have a tour arranged) are right around the corner as well as the station not being far. Super awesome location. You won't need to drive the whole stay! Highly recommend!

We are Bred and Nadja, a happy couple! Bred is italian from Florence and Nadja is german/sicilian.
We're here because we like travelling (well, of course!) and we like to share our life with our guests! We like music, we like to cook and drink with all our guests! We can show you our favourite bars and restaurants! Bred likes football, Nadja doesn't. :)
